"For a brief escape this week, look to the sky.

The Navy’s Blue Angels and the Air Force’s Thunderbirds will fly over Philadelphia on Tuesday to honor health-care workers who have been working to combat the coronavirus.....

..... The 12-jet flyover will begin in Philadelphia at 2 p.m. and last for about 20 minutes, according to a statement released Sunday. City officials said a specific route would likely be released Monday."

I live right over the bridge from Philadelphia in NJ with a pretty open view of the skyline so I will try and get some pictures when this takes place.

Logically I am not sure how this supports healthcare workers but in the end , if on some visceral level, it helps people working to get the country through this then more power to them.

Also sometimes it's just awesome to see something unique.

Their budget for the year has been spent, and with airshows canceled into June, they still have to fly to maintain currency. Why not fly over cities and let people enjoy seeing them. It gets them hours, they practice in flight refueling, and they keep their hours up.

Rumor has it that they will help the country by strafing both City Halls followed by Snake and Nape.
Your own Angela should look to the heavens for that deuce of Luftwaffe Eurofighters coming for her. It's only a short flight from Laage, less than 20 minutes at low altitude.

The Blue Angels will fly over Miami, Tampa, Tallahassee, and Jacksonville, Fla., as well as Norfolk and Virginia Beach, Va. The team will also visit Detroit, Chicago, Indianapolis, Nashville, New Orleans, and Kingsville and Corpus Christi, Texas.

Right. Of course that's it.

Couldn't have anything to do with killing two birds with one stone, could it??

Y'know, keeping up their training, and giving some free shows to people who might need a little boost in moral.

No, couldn't possibly be that.
