The title says it all. I am getting so pissed with these insane self-destructive policies. I'm desperately looking for a home myself, but there is a waiting list of over 10 years. (Unless you are rich enough to buy). Luckily a family member took me in, else I would've been on the streets already. Sadly, even though I am officially registered on this adress for 3/4 year now, we heard about a week ago that it is not allowed for me to live here. I have to go within 2 weeks, else the person who was kind enough to take me in will also lose the house! This basically means I will be living on the streets in a bit.

Is there anywhere to go? No. Literally every organisation is completely full and ALSO have a massive waiting list. What does the (local) government do? Build more shelters for ''refugees''! And punishing people who are friendly enough to help their family. WTH is this for sick joke?

Not to mention it has long been proven these ''refugees'' are not from Syria. Here is a tweet about the recent ''Syrians'' entering Greece: Link

Countries of origin of the 252 migrants and refugees detained in Greece so far, per Greek govt:

Afghanistan: 64%
Pakistan: 19%
Turkey: 5%
Syria: 4%
Somalia: 2.6%
Iraq, Iran, Ethiopia, Morocco, Bangladesh, Egypt: 5.4%

And it's not only about homes. It's about literally everything. There isn't enough money for teachers, there isn't enough for healthcare workers, police, etc etc. the list goes on and on. Recent policies completely screw our own people again as usual. Not to mention COVID-19.. We have very serious problems in this country (and in the EU).

What does the government do? Ofcourse the most dumbest thing ever. Take more people in who need housing, wealthfare checks, long integration projects costing money. Why does nobody care anymore? Why have we completely bend over for these self-proclaimed ''refugees''?

The West has gone completely insane and I'm getting really sick of it.

Where are you from? You mention Greece. The Greeks should not have allowed peeps to leave a house unfinished to avoid tax.

Just saying...if one wants a socialist state....then be prepared to pay 90 % tax.

So sorry for your predicament, unfortunately that is happening everywhere

and a time will come when the 'peasants' WILL revolt!

You are not alone there and soon the worm will turn, and governments who

dont listen to their people will fall.

There are several families on my street alone, with 3/4 kids +2 parents 6 total in each household, who are living in tiny 2 bedroom houses, 2 up 2 down, one small box room and a double sized bedroom, so that is 3 kids they have from the ages 7-1 in a 2m x 3m box room and or one in with mum and dads bedroom

They have sent me videos of the bidding app they use where there weekly bid on property's with hundreds of other bidders, loads of houses appear and disappear in a glitch coincidentally in high refugees locations, sometimes when the app glitches they'll be double or 3 times as many houses available for immigrants and refugees to bid on than natives, taxpayers who have paid into the system their whole lives, they're living in stressful over crowded accommodation while the financial migrants walk strait in and take up the property's, i also know people who are in your position who have been completely abandoned and made homeless.... i also know 3/4 refugees, single males, who was given a single bedroom apartment or flat while my childhood Friends were made homeless

I cant afford a to buy a house myself and i don't know many who can afford or has bought houses except for the older generations who bought their houses for a few years work back when, not many young people are buying and when they do they're buying tiny houses which they couldn't raise a family in, poorly built over priced rabbit hutches with gardens you couldn't swing a cat in, even renting is more expensive than getting a mortgages, a 3 bedroom house can cost £1,200 - £1,400 a month where i live

its obvious to all... mass immigration only benefits the super rich, this is what happens when the super rich sell out the people for more profit overseas, this greed has completely destroyed the western world, and now they're trying to fix it by flooding labor markets crippling the infrastructure

Oh and if you complain you're racist

Well actually that totally bollock's mate, ninety percent would be more like a communist society which if you look at the truth is not socialism, socialism does not have to be totalitarianism and in fact it is meant to mean the people own everything including the mean's of production (which one could argue that a regulated capitalist society with social safety nets achieves far better than a communist society were the people own NOTHING and the state own's them - which is obviously NOT socialism).

That said the Commies did have a strong support in Greece for a very long time - why - because the elite whom ruled the country through the sham government's there were actually corrupt to high hell, in fact I would argue that almost every government in the bloody world is BUT in the west were we were richer it was less noticable.

Then again in the States don't you have people living under bridges there entire short miserable lives while other's live in palaces, sure capitalism really work's out but only for the eventual survivors in a Darwinian and very unchristian system of government (the best your nation ever got was back in the 1950's to 60's and prior to that in the very early pre-crash 1900's when it achieved almost perfect socialism with most of the US being self employed (the people owning the mean's of production more or less perfectly expressed as far as it can be in the human model and for those not self employed there were job's a plenty - in that period of the early 1900's you may also note that your individual tax was very low - almost non existent while your corporate tax was very high - hmm think about it).

Where is the treatment of the least of these - as you treat the least of these so too do you treat me, When does the guy with two coat's give his brother that has non the one he is not using - it does happen but no where near enough for the states to really claim to be a Christian country and it is Christianity NOT Capitalism that was the foundation of western culture by the way even if it was a very - very - twisted and corrupted take on it.

Bankers being bailed out while the poor and workers whom lost there job's were turfed out of there homes', made homeless and died in there droves - yeah right all good and nice for the capitalists as after all they are more like followers of Friedrich Nietzsche than anything else, the strong, the rich, the powerful survive and sod the rest of you is there belief.

You know that nice kid that always hold's the door open because he is polite, do you think he will get on in there society, no way he is the nice guy so he goes down and the rat's and rabid dog's that eat the pie first before anyone else can get a slice will make all the way to the top - because # floats (Most of the time unless you are on REALLY high fiber diet or something), the first shall be last and the last shall be first - that's God that said that the same God that kicked the money changers (Bankers and Capitalists) out of the temple throwing there money tables and ill gotten gain's out with them - they murdered him for it but he got right back up.

Now here back to the main thread, these are mostly NOT refugee's they are Economic Migrant's, coming for what belong's to us and many of them are innocent, decent folk that just want to look after there family's and have a better future for themselves and there kid's but among them are Jihadist and worse, nobody is really able to vet these people so criminal's on the run from there own nations are also a major group among them, rapists, murderers and worse, charity begin's at home, our home is our own we will help them to build up there's but not while our own kid's are getting soaked as the rain comes in through our own roof with a hole it in, cast not your pearl before swine as the Lord say's but there are certain rich that say give to them take them in and all the while they are not doing one tiny thing to help our own homeless such is there hypocrisy and false humanitarianism.

Aha. You recognize the superiority of country morals and ethics vs. what...inner city perhaps? Thing is, there are poor country folk out there, they just tend to work harder or circle the family wagons to help one another out.

City peeps usually got no skills like that.

Perhaps the OP will show up and let us know the specifics of their rant?

If you have been able to live on 18-20k this last year........ surely you should

have had something (a nice little nest egg) put away for a rainy day while you

had been taking home 75k previously?

It would have been prudent surely!?

Thanks for the support, almost everyone!

I know it's easy to have an opinion without knowing all the facts. I know that everyone struggles and have setbacks. The problem is that I've only had major struggles and setbacks for a big part of my life. Especially the last few years. I don't want/can not go into too much details, but one of the reasons is that I'm sick. I can't work anymore. I wish I still could. So I'm living by the month on wealthfare checks. It's very hard to get a house if there's an insane waitinglist and you have a very basic income.

I've tried looking to rent a room, but that is a problem aswell. A, because of the low income. B, they seek/want mostly women, students and full-time workers. So, that's simply a dead end because of my situation. It's always a big fat 'No'.

It isn't my intention to ''Biatch'' or ''rant'' about my situation. This topic/problem affects a LOT of people. I was simply pointing out my situation as a prime example. Many people feel this way, which can be seen by the replies here aswell. It simply isn't a good idea to take in countless of people when there are already major housing and economic problems.

All that money we are investing in ''refugees'' (A lot of which have shown they don't have the intention to integrate at all), should instead be spend on teachers. Smaller class rooms, more time for individual children. It should be spend on healthcare, nurses, care for the elderly, which is dwinling fast Etc. The home crisis needs to be solved, not increased.

If we can help people who have it bad we should, ofcourse. But, we simply can't right now. We have too many problems of our own. Not to mention the fact, that a lot of these ''refugees'' simply aren't. A lot of them have no intention of integrating. This can already be seen in foreign-sponsored mosques (which are a LOT). They hate democracy. They create and live by their own rules. They teach their children to distance from Westerners. They are the boss, not government etc.

Also, I want to point out that our own culture is being erased, while others are growing like crazy. It isn't about racism. It's about history, culture. Forgetting who we are. Do you expect ME countries to take us in and give us such a friendly treatment like we do? Ocourse not. They aren't going to change their ways for us. Why should we?
