Matt Hancock the health secretary is expected to update the commons on c19

He will likely announce current caseloads including a statement on several school closures where there are returnees from italian outbreak areas . Early reports say there were symptoms among some.

Also the BBC is already outside a Truro surgery which is where one of the school's is , Cornwall UK.

Given the circumstances , and despite the floodings , there's reason to have faith in the current UK leadership . If they can take power and see off the one party state European Union , ripping a big no deal shaped hole in EU negotiating strategy as they did , then they can deal with Corona .

That said the right honourable Rees mogg is looking a little peaky pffft , we can probably expect to see more irony soon. It was a shame to have to swap Corona for Brexit on the 31st January , and that would have been a result that made ATS UK contingent , in the main , reasonably cheerful. Not the Scots mind, but where are those lot now anyway haven't used the site for months ?

Schools policy ,mitigate potential overreaction costs , local decisions but remain open policy

The self isolation policy when appied to others sharing houses , getting people's shopping for them if they have virus , "keeping away from them" at the same time , that question needs looking at. It's a bit like asking the public to mitigate this disaster directly but without telling them how to do it. Yes it would be better not to have people come to hospitals or go mass quarantine unless they're dying. Then again no it won't be better for containment purposes on the face of it to contain anyone with the virus at home with people who don't have it. It's a doublefk situation no blame assignable , but needs work
