Iran is bombing Iraq, now they want to attack the UAE?

If they think one of their neighbors will allow the US to use its territory as a launchpad to attack it?

A threat, but would they follow through?

Not good, all around.

Maybe it's just they game. Scare every ME country hosting US bases to expel them just like the Iraq did

Please President Trump...spare the Iranian people, and save American/Allies lives on the battlefield.

The blood of those fallen are on Trumps hands now.

They would be alive today if not for his direct actions. How you feel about that?

I think they are saying, dont aid the US, if you do, the UAE is fair game.

Exactly.

If American lives were lost from attacks within Iran......well American lives is the line in the sand, the more you kill the harder he hits back, it's his lifes modus operandi verbally, commercially, and in war.

If 52 Americans died, all 52 of those sites will be ash within the week.

Iran is trying to show strength by attacking America directly....well they can't win, treaties will even allow NATO allies to step into this mess. Not that they need to anyways, but some might like the UK and Poland.
And that would how this escalates as other nations take Irans side.

Its honestly hard to say if Russia or China will truly go to bat for Iran is a full on war breaks out... both countries would have too much to lose entering this conflict, in my eyes. Iran may have some ME militia groups/terror orgs to lean on, but i dont see too many countries standing behind them.

Hopefully this will be the excuse needed for droning Iran's leadership into the next life!

THEY are the head of the snake. Time to decapitate the serpent.

Fingers crossed.

Yeah, because that worked so well with Saddam in Iraq, am I right?
At this point, a vote for a Republican president = go to war.

Clinton might of done the same..having said that, she likely would not of torn the deal up..and this would likely not be happening.

It wasn't directed at me but i think you need to wake the f* up.

This started decades ago and wasn't helped by the last administration surrendering billions to Iran.

Bush is 10x more responsible.

Folks? If Iran hadn't attacked our embassy, killed and injured Americans. . . then none of this would be happening. Lets keep that in mind. Unless you honestly believe that the US should not have retaliated and just tucked the tail between the legs and ran home after delivering a pallet of cash.

You still just don't get it do you.

This is an interesting point. If NATO refuses to assist, then we have all we need to walk away from NATO. On the other hand if IRAN keeps threatening everyone in the region, then I think Russia might be a bigger problem for Iran than the US. After all it's a hard sell for Americans to use nuks, but Putin on the other hand?

Well oddly enough their leaders dont show the same grace as Kim, playing crazy. They have constantly acted it out, yet from some reason we were supposed to negotiate with them but not Lil' Kim.

keep in mind, Putin is in Syria right now on a surprise visit.

thats very close - especially considering US Bases in Syria have been placed on Alert.

www.independent.co.uk...

Russian president Vladimir Putin has arrived in Damascus on a surprise visit to meet his Syrian counterpart Bashar al-Assad. Mr Putin met Mr Assad at a Russian military base in the capital, where the two leaders discussed the military situation in the country, a Kremlin spokesperson said.

They obviously didn't get the memo, they're not dealing with Obama. And that's a good thing. They started this # show, so let finish it. Quickly and precisely.

It's not the first war.

Vietnam, and Gulf war 1 and Second go round, and apparently the third time is the charm.

Mixed bag for Iranians. On one hand, could die, lose loved ones. On the other, their best shot at having a real democracy. They are going to have to get engaged though. Massive protest, over run government buildings. I think they rise up. The sentiment there is the people hate the theocracy. It won't take much to momentum to get it going. Once lights and services go out, food shortages things go downhill fast.

There's a big difference between shooting someone with a drone (what carewemust suggested) and what was done in Iraq.
Surely you're able to see that difference.

At this point, a vote for a Republican president = go to war.

Extremely selective memory you've got there.

Hope Assad’s got a nice bunker, but my guess is his people will be pulling him out of a dirty foxhole for a violent and unceremonious end in not to long.

I think you should brush up on your geography friend.

Google has some excellent maps, and Wiki can be useful for some base information.

Now its time to bring the hammer down on them....
a reply to: jhn7537

You mean, like we did in Afghanistan and Iraq?

Are you or your family members military age? I sincerely hope so, only way to get people off that 'bring the hammer' down mentality is to have them actually serve, and not no spew from a keyboard.

Soldiers sign up to defend this country.. if you dont want to possibly go to war, then pick a different line of work. We have been attacked by Iran, they have been stepping up their BS lately and need to be put in their place. This isnt Obamas USA anymore where we bow down.....

...and voting Democrat would be a sign of WEAKNESS and a Betrayel to the Constitution and America as a whole.
