I don't know if this is true, but I just read several posts on Twitter just now, that indicates that Trump may not have been lying when he stated that Iran will 'pay a very BIG PRICE' for the attack on the US embassy:

Well, I for one hope it's not true.

I don't trust the Intel community on who's a "threat". How many lives have we lost post WWII in countries who haven't attacked us, or at best had dodgy connections to something we lose more lives in the war than the initial attack.

Trump got my vote because he wasn't Hillary, and he proclaimed to dial back our bad track record with conflicts.

Is Trump talking about this? I know we have additional people in the M.E. theater, but let’s not get excited.

I still think we should just have our politicians battle it out in a cage match to settle things. That way any losses would be acceptable and wars much less frequent.

Iran is more capable than Iraq was, and we walked away with a bloody lip and a big debt.

Even if we just did airstrikes, they could still hit our guys in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.

Thinking we can topple a country in the ME with ease is foolish at this point IMO.

Ummm. There are two things I know trump has a lot of: money and balls

RT(in the UK)Are reporting several rockets have hit Baghdad Int.Airport,a few Iraqi soldiers injured.They showed a video of a couple of small fires.
Looks like insurgent activity rather than US bombs to me.
Maybe the same Hizbollah linked people from the embassy riot?
But could be any jihadi group I guess.

Do I want us to engage in Iraq? No.
Do we have troops in Iraq? Yes
Should we protect our troops? Yes

The main reason we should be in Iraq right now is to assist with not allowing another ISIS/ISIL to rise or for Islams Shia population to take over which is what Iran is 95% of.

If airstrikes are needed so be it. I don't think Iran has the balls to actually attack a US only base. If they did they would be screwed.

Iran crossed a red line by killing 1 American and injuring 4 other Americans last week. What President Trump promised for retaliation is far more profound than baby rockets landing near Baghdad's airport.

Airport has been shut down,and RT are talking about the attack being aimed at foriegn troops who are near the airport.

The airport is located next to the Baghdad Diplomatic Support Center (BDSC), which is used by diplomats and intelligence operatives, as well as the US-led anti-terrorist coalition forces in Iraq. The area is also home to the joint counter-terrorism center.

Not necessarily Jihadists,as many different actors would love to see the US dragged into more chaos,especially if Iran could be blamed and attacked.
Even some of Trumps people would love a war with Iran.
