I think the events at the embassy are signaling. Iran is making clear that the USA has pressure points in Iraq. If the US forces attack their people, our embassy and other infrastructure are at risk from mob action.

Igniting the rage of "Arab street" is an old trick of the rulers there.

Some collusion chicanery on attempting to create another "Benghazi" episode to blame Trump.?

Two different protest movements in Iraq right now. One anti Government since October - they want Iran influence out and one pro-Iran Militia (attacking embassy).

Iran as always tries to deny its relationship with the militias surrounding the US Embassy. Yet these "Iraqi Protestors" wrote "Soleimani is my commander" on the wall of the US Embassy!

Qasem Soleimani is the Iranian Major General in the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. He built the Iraqi militias.

edit: Ok, dug on my own. This is a clocktower in NY, an art exhibition.

It is correct either way is my understanding. I have seen other time pieces with that pattern.

I had no clue, just struck my brain as off, so I had to find clock towers with that layout. Still can't din the exact geographical location of the clock tower though.


through more diggin, that is not the same clock. the hands are different, so IDK what clock that is. Also, the dot-dot-coffin-dot-dot pattern under the numbers are unique.

Not sure about current usage, but the Germans in World War II used some instances of four repeated letters in their depictions of Roman numerals [e.g. XXXX. Panzerkorps] (although they did use IV vice IIII).

The clock in my office has IIII instead of IV for the four.
It is fairly common for clock faces to have it that way.
