frontier.yahoo.com...

Still trying to control the Democratic narrative, Mrs. Clinton is now saying that Tulsi Gabbard is being backed by Russian bots and websites promoting her candidacy on a third party.

It seems that Tulsi said that the recent debate was '' despicable'' and this prompted Clinton’s allegations.

“The New York Times and CNN have also smeared veterans like myself for calling to an end to this regime-change war,” Gabbard told the crowd in Ohio. “Just two days ago, the New York Times put out an article saying I am a Russian asset and an Assad apologist and all these different smears. This morning, a CNN commentator said on national television that I’m an asset of Russia.”

Clinton’s allegations have, as far as I have been able to ascertain thus far, not been backed up by any proof or specific charges on what or where or which sites these may be but rather loom only as pronouncements from on high.

A truly democratic position would hold for all challengers to be considered for the office of the president. A third party at least would offer a better choice than this old good guys bad guys rut we are all stuck in.

This reminds me of back in 2000 when Ralph Nader ran as a third party candidate and was polling around 6% but was not allowed on the debate stage between Bush and Gore. Indeed, Nader was not even allowed in the audience or even in one of the satalite viewing rooms. He was actually escorted by police away from the debate center.

So, if this is true, that Gabbard is being backed by Russian Trolls, why has it not come out in the regular news cycle with all the proof that people will need to make up their minds on their own.
Why does it have to be presented to us by this ''voice of authority''.

Don't get me wrong here folks, I don't consider Clinton a voice of authority worth listening to but this does not mean that there are not folks in the Democrat camp who do.

So Mrs. Clinton. Put up or shut up. You should no longer have any voice in our democracy. You ran and you lost to a bozo and it was your own fault. Face it. Conservatives hate you and any true liberal will never let you on the debate stage again let alone run for the presidency. …..

EDIT.. I wanted to add this link offered on page Two from Critical Stinker on the origions of this issue and how it has been proven to be a fabrication ...

So Gabbard has gained the opposite of Hillary Clinton's endoresement. Sounds good to me. Still think Gabbard and Trump need to team up.

If the rest of the world (the other half of the US) hasn't figured her out by now, they never will.

...and this woman supposedly won the election? I imagine the major world's cities would have been a smoking pile of scorched earth by now.

It might explain it but it is not necessarily true. Clinton seems to be all out to keep her voice '' authoritative'' and could just be slinging it about.
Here.

www.washingtonpost.com... /

“And that’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up, which she might not because she’s also a Russian asset,” Clinton said. “Yeah, she’s a Russian asset — I mean, totally. They know they can’t win without a third-party candidate. So I don’t know who it’s going to be, but I will guarantee you they will have a vigorous third-party challenge in the key states that they most needed.”

She says as well that Stein's run in 2016 was also part of the Russian plot.
I guess she cannot admit to herself her own whopping failure in 2016 and is stretching her mind to find any other excuse for it.

This should make the whole Russian Collusion thing explicitly clear -- if you are to the right of Marx, Mao, and Stalin, the Russians are colluding with you to put you in charge. Good grief! Tulsi is what we used to call a Blue Dog Democrat and she's even fairly left-leaning for one of those, but she's more moderate than most of the clowns claiming to be the voice America needs.

I don't think that she would accept a vp slot with Trump. She has firmly placed herself in the no-Trump camp and for her to do so would for me at least completely undermine her as a rational being.

a cursory scan of ms gabbards policy stance - would indicate that she is the sanest " left of centre " politician to express an interest in the presidential nomination

HOWEVER - he 2nd ammendment stance - seems to invoke an ATS backlash

Tulsi has been a "Russian target" (of the media's narrative) for a while now.

Truth be told it made me like her once I saw she was being smeared at the get go.

As I said in the other thread on this topic, it seems like Hillary is doing everything she can do to make sure the Dems lose in 2020. Which makes sense considering that a Trump presidency is best for her bottom line.

I honestly don't think that this goes so far as to involve all those far left philosophical thinkers. To me Clinton was never more than a centrist herself, and a neo con to boot. She was and apparently still is in it for herself. That she still has any faith in her own ability to moderate American politics can to my mind only be considered self indulgent.

Tulsi will never team with Trump.

I'm always surprised at how many people from the Trump camp support her considering she was pretty much the first politician to endorse Bernie in 2016. She's a Bernie Bro through and through.

I think the best move she could make would be to drop out and team up with Bernie. Even with his recent health issues he's still gaining in the polls. With her on board he gains a lot of Republicans that are fed up with Trump's antics and she has a decent chance of actually becoming President.

Tulsi is the only Dem candidate who hasn't gone full-out insane.
She's rational, she loves America, she's willing to be bipartisan....

...so yeah, the rest of the Dems think he's some kind of freak.

I have said this multiple times before. Tulsi is the ONLY candidate they have that could have a chance at beating Trump....literally the ONLY one.

Naw, you gotta look at people as being people. She held out pretty long on not impeaching Trump. It's clear her main focus is her antiwar stance. I don't think she's truly that dedicated to the anti Trump wagon. It's just the only way she's even allowed on stage to get her desires out there. Along with several policies. It's all compromises.

All she would need to do is say, screw it, I'm done trying to compromise with the democrat party, everything is rigged and I'm not compromizing my ideals for them any longer. Then she'd need to set down what she stands for and if she did join Trump make it clear where they disagree and agree.

Everyone knows there's compromise to play requirements in every party. All anyone needs to do to break away is call them out when they do.

That said I do find it unlikely. I just think it would be an epic team up to shake up the system.

For two years, anyone against Clinton was a sexist. What does this say when Clinton goes against another female?

Obviously nothing, but let reality go for a second and use democrat logic...
