People that say that the rovers are on Devon Island or any other place on Earth ignore the difference in erosion methods between photos from Earth and photos from Mars.
While photos from Earth, even from extremely dry places like Antarctica's dry valleys, they always show signs of water or ice erosion that photos from Mars do not show.

That's not very useful.

It looks like what you call "hop marks" are marks from the rover's wheels. If we knew the image ID we could compare other photos taken on the same location.

I’ve never heard of the rover being on Devon island.
I just googled it and found a picture from Devon island being compared to the “mars landscape”
Very interesting.
I have access to daily updated satellite imagery.
I’m going to check it out tomorrow in the office.

Has been covered here before, you can search, I don't have time to look.

This should tickle a fancy, it's Devon Island...fake or fanciful?

Can anyone verify NASA actually released that pic from Devon Island?

I've known about this awhile but if anyone can verify this is a hoax I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

That doesn't look like Devon Island, and the fact that the files appear to be called "Ireland 1.jpg" and "Ireland 2.jpg" I doubt they show Devon Island.

NASA has published several photos of Devon Island, as they have been using it for the Haughton-Mars Project.

When you say "this", what are you referring to?

The picture is not Devon Island. It is Ireland and fake.

The two hills can be the same because you won’t find this photo “of Mars” in the NASA rover images. It isn’t there and no one ever said it was taken on Mars. This “Mars” photo was created by Danny Wilten to demonstrate that earth locations could be made to look like Mars.

Images Show Mars Rover Photos Shot on Earth? No, Here’s Proof.
