I think area 51 stopped being the "place" long ago.

I assumed they would make money off this event.

They will for sure get many hits to their websites that they wouldn't have gotten otherwise, once this happens.
Facebook and twitter will livestream it. It's going to bring a lot of eyeballs to social media sites and news channels.

Maybe your right about the regular guy part though. Could be a set up by the media companies to get all that attention.

Doing so would cause to much chaos in the world. No potus wants to deal with that.

It is a possibility if things get out of control. How is the deep state going to respond when cornered? How many strong holds and deep underground bases do they have? Would they rather burn it all than take a good look at themselves?

With all the talk of recession it sounds like there are some people out there know they have been leaches. Looks like Trump has it together on the economy so that it will be fine for most people.

Mass abductions have been reported and always a possibility. Usually it involves people that have been in the program for a while. I would expect the Military gets a tight hold on any exchange programs that take place, we are all trying to work this stuff out and good to have someone watching your back.

Aliens are the creators of us. They will not meet the government of any country for the time being.
