We did go to the moon. It was impossible to fake--given the primitive technology we had at the time.

That does sound strange and really counter-intuitive, but it's true.

This guy does a pretty good job of explaining it:

"We're whalers on the moon...we carry a harpoon..."
"But their ain't no whales so we tell tall tales.....We're whalers on the moon...."

Quote from a documentary that showed we in fact DID go to the moon.

I think the real question that needs asked is "Did we dubstep on the moon."

Of course we never landed on the moon... everyone knows the earth is flat and the moon is just a big light bulb.

We one stepped, two stepped and probably dub stepped on that bitch.

Do you believe we had a man walk on the moon?

I don't believe, I know. I know because I've researched it properly, looked at the evidence, met the astronauts, examined data and imagery from all manner of sources.

Sure we have sent a few satellites and space doo hickeys beyond our moon. None of that means we have the ability to walk on the moon.

There is very little difference between sending an unmanned probe and a manned one to the moon or anywhere else, other than the need to provide resources for the people on board. The scientific and engineering principles are exactly the same.

Even today many scientists will admit the technology to reach the moon is unavailable.

Name one.

How was this accomplished in the 1960's ?

By 400000 people working their nuts off for over 10 years - research into landing on the moon started a long time before Kennedy's speech, but he provided the money and a target date. Everything else was the result of hard work, research, testing and the courage of the astronauts.

The point is to give pretentious morons the opportunity to make comments.

yes, you have made them and one was

Wait I will provide evidence. Not here but soon.

Not here?

Not here, in this thread?

Not here, on ATS?

and soon?

Like soon we will get disclosure?

There is a jokes forum where your thread would be better suited.

Well i wouldn't want a slice after all those naughty astronauts walked and drove over it. Talk about Health & Safety breach......

Yes.

Been to the Moon.

And that's about it really.

1969 did not have health and safety issues we have today to contend with nor 100% internet coverage nether.

If they didn't actually do it, what would be the point in spending all that money launching rockets? Can anyone seriously argue that none of the Apollo rocket launches were real? So. Question. How much does it cost to launch a rocket and how much more than that does it cost for that rocket to use science to get to the moon once it's up there? Think about that.

Now think about how much it would have costed them to convincingly fake everything. How much more effort would there have had to have been than just going to the damn moon. Sorry. I don't believe it was a hoax. I believe they stopped doing it because it was something they didn't need to keep doing once it had been done.

Unfortunately yes they do argue that the Apollo rocket launches were real.

Apparently, they were holographic projections.

Then again we might all be that.

For all intent and purpose, we landed on the Moon.

Im proud of that for all of us.

That's ridiculous. It would be totally impossible to have a real landing and a staged version of it match up properly. They wouldn't have known the details of the surface with any kind of accuracy until they landed, so it would be impossible to get the set looking even approximately correct.
