YT will be cracking down hard with the upcoming election. They have to ban anyone not speaking in the language of Corporate Tyranny.

With the advent of Citizens United, corporations were granted more freedom of expression, this includes more monetary freedom to help the causes of their choosing via Superpacs. So will there be a day when they have enough congressmen, senators, ect. in their pocket to the point where they can shift the view on their platform (assuming they haven't already) and equate that to the servers being their property, and it's like picking what signs go in your lawn.

Now they have demonetized Ford Fischers entire channel - this is freaking both sides out because he is literally a photo / document journalist whose work is use by Hollyweird as well as major news and TV outlets and has no opinionated commentary associated with it.

No need for supremacist sarcasm. I was speaking metaphorically. Plus that wasn't the question, it was about redheads. This is how people's words get turned around to suit the narrative.

ETA: Also if it was against backs or green people or whatever you want there would probably a reason for the poster. Why not discuss the reasons, bring forward you r anti-stance in eloquent form instead of banning?

They think we are all eejits that will swallow everything and need our hands held and told what to believe. But I have faith in a lot of humans to crave justice and equality of opinions.
Worked for the French during their revolution and a hell of a lot of others. Teh only way to keep us quiet [and that won't even work] is to go full N-Korea.

I've already suspected that, that is why I don't use Google owned services for certain things.

Like I said, I don't agree with them trying to load the conversation, and hypothetically the free market should correct it in one way shape or form.

I've tried to do the same. I've weaned myself off of gmail, switched full time to Duckduckgo but I just can't find a good alternative to YouTube. I know they exist but the depth of content just isn't as good anywhere else. Thankfully, I don't look for political content (I get more than my quota from ATS) but personal interest stuff is great. No censorship for what I watch.

If enough people complain yes.

Remember it's not as if youtube employs some people that do nothing but watch every new video to make sure it's ok.
They use member feed back and ai.

If enough people complain or the ai flags a video then someone will review it and take action or not.

The social game on youtube is being won by the left because they complain more than others. It's really that simple.

When enough other people complain or leave and youtube starts losing lots of money they will change. Or die.
But that might never happen. There might not be enough other people or they just don't want to complain or leave.

When they came for Alex Jones, many laughed and rubbed their tummys from pleasure. No one thought that one day will come the day when the big purge will happen. And now we all are witnessing what censorship in a totalitarian system means.
