I don't buy that. You and I had discussions pre-Trump and you were consistently ripping the GOP and the TEA Party while defending the Dems. History matters and I remember you being quite liberal since you joined.

The big difference is I'm far more concerned by the manner of opposition to him. Some folks would be just fine burning the whole place down.

There's no denying the traffic to this site is not what it used to be. I barely have to scroll the 'recent' page before hitting threads where no one has posted for an hour or more. Why? It's really not because "I was wrong and they were right" or the opposite. It's because it's boring.

I don't see it as a right wing echo chamber, I see it as a political BS echo chamber. Some people don't have a side.
Some think the whole political arena is bs, bread and circuses to further the divide among every conceivable line, and the results are blatant, and disgusting. People can't be bothered to post, or even visit.

Funny, I say the same about those who espouse little more than blind hatred against him, especially when many of his ideas are actually lifted from past Democrats' policies.

I think the biggest political conspiracy in the history of the country was Obama using his admin to use DNC paid for oppo research to spy on his parties opponent.

This was the biggest and clearest example of a deep state of unelected officials controlling our elections we have seen.

If this isn't dealt with, then no acts regarding taxes or anything else will ever change.

Actually "whitetrash" in reference to trump is what my old Texan, republican, Baptist mother called trump in reference to his treatment of women...nothing to do with race. I think she was accurate in her assertion.

Bigger than Watergate, bigger than the Teapot Dome scandal... yet crickets chirp in DC when actually investigating it is mentioned. If they ever successfully get an independent counsel onto that case, we will see a lot of Dems and even some GOP retire quickly. I suspect it is why we saw a handful of GOP congressmen and senators step down last year anyway, seeing as how those who did were staunch "never Trump" Republicans who were plausibly complicit in this scandal.
