From New Jersey to L.A. it's real, just youtube tent cities and watch a few video's. Eye opening really, a few bad mishaps and boom.
It's not as widespread as YouTube leads you to believe. The majority of homeless In the United States are that way due to mental illness and not from financial issues.

stop being ridiculous to prove your nonsensical point as usual

I have to disagree with you on this one. I admit some homeless people are homeless due to mental illness. However, I think more often it is being homeless that gives people mental problems.

That's a precious metal dealer and not the Canadian government. You're so disingenuous it's not even funny.
But I'll play along, give me one of those gold coins that are worth over $300 and I'll give you $5 which is what's minted on them.

More lip service Augie.....why not just say...oh wow...you are right and I was wrong....there is in fact a Global currency that is not fiat...what are you trying to spin now?en.wikipedia.org...
The Silver Maple Leaf is legal tender. The face value is 5 Canadian dollars. The market value of the metal varies, depending on the spot price of silver.

Hur-dur, from your own link:

I'll take as many as you have off your hands for $5 a pop since that's what's minted on the obverse. You down for that exchange?
Those are collectible coins and not meant for regular transaction. Maybe when you understand what the word 'fiat' in regards currency actually means we can try to have a big person conversation about the topic.

They are official Canadian/Global currency...acceptable for regular transactions....why do I so enjoy it when you cling to your last thread Augie???.

So are you up for selling me those for the minted value? This is a simple yes or no question. Would you sell them for $5 each?

When your fiat money is only good for wallpaper we will discuss terms for now I wouldn't even take spot price.
Nothin but upside for silver, you can eat it...

So your answer is an obvious 'no' which was to be expected since those are cute little collector coins which means they need to be redeemed for fiat money unless you want to take a bath and sell them off for the minted value.

That's nice, you eat your little collector coins, I'll use my dollars and buy a steak.

That's not how mental illness works.

There are plenty of people out there trying hard, even working more than one job, and just not able to afford housing and all the monthly bills that go with it. Living and following all the rules takes a fairly good investment that not everyone can afford in this day and age.

You can see it in Japan people are getting worked to death, or suicide. Since in the US their are no real safety nets its dog eats dog, if your down your out.
