No his hatred and ignorance was fed by one side and one side only. Go ahead and read any thread regarding Islam and Muslims and see what side shouts the loudest about how evil Muslims and the religion of Islam is and how if they are not stopped, they will take over western society...etc.

In fact there is one poster in this thread spewing those words and now the very same people who were posting such utter hatred about Muslims/Islam are now condemning that poster and acting like they were not saying the same thing a few days/wks/months ago. The poster is vile but I actually respect him/her because they did not come into a thread and pretend their ideology has changed and are still spewing garbage about Islam, where they most likely have learned from a right wing site.

People on here are distancing themselves from past comments they made regarding propaganda about Muslims/Islam by coming in this thread and condemning this act. Their heart s may actually go out to the victims and are truly remorseful about what happened but give them a day/week or two and they will be back in threads spewing garbage and propaganda about Muslims/Islam like nothing ever happened.

On behalf of every sane person in this discussion...all I can say to you is ...

Put down the bottle and go home man...you are obviously drunk!

As we've been saying here in the states and around the world, the refugee stuff is creating major tensions that are BOUND to boil over in horrific and unintended ways. That is reality. Sorry if you can't abide that reality.

The whole point is these Mosque attendees could've easily been life-long New Zealanders. Only stating the refugee influx globally is creating these types of hard-to-predict problems. Stochastic terrorism I believe they call it

WTF?????

No, immigrants are not to blame for this horrific terror attack.

"major tensions BOUND to boil over"?
"hard-to-predict problems"?

Imagine dismissing the 9-11 attacks that way. Just tensions boiling over and hard to predict problems.

Wow. Just gross.

Using that logic, then you should have no problem admitting that the ultimate motivation for this attack is the West's actions in the Middle East.

I mean the reason there are so many refugees are due to the wars we've started there. The Islamic terror attacks in the West, including 9/11, are a direct reaction to what we've done in that part in the world.

If you're not willing to place blame on the West for their actions, then the blame you're trying to place on the Muslim community just comes across as xenophobic.

If anyone ever doubted that there is a large, far Right, contingent on ATS they just need to read this thread. The sheer number of people trying to minimize the actions of this POS while attempting to shift blame to the victims is absolutely sickening.

Go back to Daily Stormer.

Oh wait, you can't because the world as a whole judged you as worthless pieces of trash and deleted your bastion of hate.

When Christians are killed no one seems to care or are outraged and what i noticed from these recent terrorist attacks in Europe by Radical Islamists there hasn't being any major outrage or massive protests agaisnt such attacks by the Muslim community why is that?

The Mainstream News Media outlets have often always told everyone how the right wingers are always so wrong about no go zones, yet they exist so why haven't MSM gone into those zones? are they afraid that their narratives will collapse?

It isn't hatred. Pointing out that a religion calls for the violent conversion of "non believers" is not "hatred" it is reality. Criticizing that religion for its historically poor treatment of women, homosexuals, Christians and Jews is also not hatred.

When a religion puts themselves above national interests it is bound to concern a nation concerned with its borders.

And lets not forget, you have Islamic terrorists around the world committing acts of violence including Iran/Palestine who are by far the most prolific sources of anti-Christian anti-Jew hatred. In fact, they routinely threaten to wipe Israel off the map.

Just reality. I can't help that reality doesn't jive with your socialist sensibilities.

The least you could do—the absolute least—is properly represent someone's argument before resorting to the typical demonization and virtue-signalling.

Let's refute their arguments, not try make ourselves look like the most precious people around.

The motivation? Sure, I'll admit that. Someone can be motivated by something. That doesn't mean I agree with it or think they are right, simply acknowledging that may indeed be their motive

However... in this case, the guy was an "eco fascist" according to his manifesto and decidedly anti-conservative (and yes, illiberal)

The fundamentals of liberalism is an increase in freedom/autonomy. This "eco fascist" ideology is no different than communism/socialism, which is incompatible with liberalism, conservatism, etc.

You must think I supported the war on Iraq or something
I supported American boys overseas, not the necessity of the war. Part of our conservative agenda (and Trump's agenda) is the end of global endless wars and attempts to police the world.

Can you show us an example of this?

I don't expect a scholarly dissertation on the matter, just one link or quote showing either of those things (minimizing or shifting blame)

I am fairly certain they still exist in some form or another, that cow Heidi Beirich was REE'ing about them just last week or so. In any case, as a decidedly pro-Jewish pro-Israel conservative American I find their views repugnant. Nevertheless, I fully support their right to hold those views and share them as they see fit. That is called free speech.

As a nationalist, I want to see the United States remain "American." Fortunately, "American" is a broad label and includes any person or group who assimilates into the American culture. That can be Muslims, Jews, Christians, or outer space aliens for all I care. If you profess allegiance to our Nation and loyalty to our Constitution, that is enough for me. Those who can't do those things, in my opinion, I don't want them here. Whoever that may be.

Big deal. There's an entire world of leftist clap-trap out there at your perusal. This sort of finger-wagging isn't going to change any minds.

Where did I misrepresent? There have been people in this very thread referring to this as a minor incident while claiming it is the fault of the victims for being Muslim.

If someone used similar terminology to excuse 9/11 or 7/7 they would be berated about how Islam is the religion of Satan and that all practitioners need to be wiped from the face of the Earth.

Funny how similar standards don't work when Muslims are the victim.

I wonder why that is.

I'm just wondering why we cannot face the argument instead of trying to demonize these boards and its members.

The video is more horrific than any I've seen in my life. The shooter filmed it from the same first-person POV that video games use. Even when he changed magazines, it looked like Doom and it's variants. He mowed down masses of people so quickly and wants you to see it through his eyes.

Then he spies someone running through the building, trying to escape. The aim and single shot that he uses to take him down looked like Fortnite.

He fires his gun at the piles of bodies in the corners of the room. He was making sure they were all dead. I can't stop thinking about the corners.

He goes outside and walks to his car to switch guns. While he's outside, he aims and shoots people walking on the sidewalk. He walks up to one of the people he hit. He fires another bullet into his lifeless body.

He walks back into the mosque. It is filled with the dead. He fires into the mass of bodies in the corner again. One of the victims, who looked like a child, spasms as another bullet is fired at him.

I am reporting what I saw because the video has been taken offline. I am not making a statement about guns or video games. The horror of how this same scene played out at Sandy Hook, at Pulse Nightclub, at Stoneman-Douglas high school, at a country music concert in Las Vegas, and at many more places too numerous to list here, chills me to the bone.

My heart aches at this. We are one human family. I will never understand the mindset of someone so filled with an impulse and hunger for carnage.

They were not corpses, they were cowering when they heard gunfire. They probably didn't realize they were the targets initially, and got low/stuck together to reduce their target area (from a drive by, for instance)

The guy who went after the shooter emerged from the left side. After he's nearly tackled/subdued, he jogs back down the hallway to empty another magazine into the left side (presumably out of anger for the guy who tried to take him down)

They also may have been playing dead, I really am not sure

Look at it again. The way they are laying is not cowering, they are already dead. Weird positions and such.

So when he comes back in the second time, and they've moved where he shoots them again, they were still dead?

I so want to say what I want to call you.. but I'd get pinged and you'd be none the wiser.

It's a false flag eeryone.. no one died, it's a scam to stop people thinking about brexit.. or trump.. or venezuela... Pffft

The people killed are not flags. And the shooting is the opposite of false. It happened. It's documented in real-time.

Don't fall for it.

They were in fear, cowering over each other, after hearing shots and screams.

Man, why does every mass shooting have to involve bull#.. people are not nice. people are assholes. and people die becaucs of them. People died today. People just living their lives.

That rock on mars is not a calcified rodent... people died, and families were destroyed.

Or I'm just a schmuck who can't see the truth, where people willingly pretend to be dead, so some agenda can be observed..
