Captain marvel

We are a month away from captain marvel hitting the theatres and this movie is being pushed to the moon with advertising.

Here is the 3rd trailer.



I'm not one to go to every superhero movie as a side note.
Never saw aqua man
The last Spider-Man
Nope on ant man2

I need to be impressed a bit in order to get me to drop the coin at a theatre.
This movie is not doing it yet..
I think they picked the wrong lead for this movie. She's about as entertaining as watching paint dry.
Now gal gadot on the other hand felt like Wonder Woman.

Maybe it's that the captain marvel character isn't really that interesting.
Guardians of the galaxy wasn't a real popular comic either but you got to admit the actors brought the charisma to the screen and I don't think Brie Larson is capable of doing that.

I'm also wondering how this character will tie into the the next avengers movie.
It obviously takes place before fury lost his eye so they will have to explain her absence.
Avengers has been a fantastic series and I want a solid conclusion.

Any thoughts?

The way Infinity Wars ended still has me reeling. And then this final scene on top:



Thanos just lounging around enjoying total victory. I guess I am not used to evil winning. I guess it's the time we are living in.

You have to watch Aquaman for the red head alone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am dying to see Captain Marvel and Avengers Endgame.

Not sure she's in it, but they're timed too close together for her not to be.

Besides Fury paged her!!!

Han was an ice cube.
Total downer.

But don't worry about the avengers ending.
One infinity stone is a time stone.
Another is a reality stone.

Usually the ones promoted most heavily end up sucking the most.

Hopefully this is not one of those situations, but that seems to be the overwhelming trend.

I heard the next infinity war flick will be 3 hours...so at least 3.5 for the extended blue ray

I haven't seen a single commercial for it, I guess I'm doing something right.

All I've heard about it is criticism that it's going to follow in the recent line of failures that want to cater more to making the audience "woke" than actually worry about the minor things. Minor things like having a good plot and good actors, making a good movie.

Small details though.

I have a pre-bias against this movie already because they are starting off with the female Captain Marvel.

The original Captain Marvel, the Kree soldier Mar Vell, was a great character with a rich legacy of interesting stories. They could have easily gotten three quality movies based on those comics. The nega-bands, the Cosmic Awareness, Rick Jones, the Supreme Intelligence, the Negative Zone, etc. The Death of Captain Marvel graphic novel is one of the best stories ever put in comic form.

I feel like they are glossing over his importance to the Marvel legacy for the sake getting more female heros on the screen. I probably won't see it in the theater, but I'll get the bluray at some point.

I was raised on a rural farm and Marvel was my only escape from the endless slave labor for my grandfather. I have enjoyed every single marvel movie without exception. Yes I'm not fond of the changes to storylines and characters( I hated Hugh Jackman at first), but being a comic book addict I have seen characters killed off and reborn in the many years, or just a change of artist could be devastating. I'm sure it was a integral part of my ability to roll with the punches of life. and I second the motion for the death of captain marvel as one of the best all time, I would have to add , "deadpool kills the marvel universe", and " the punisher kills the marvel universe"...but I think those might of been E-Comics ?

Yea Im watching but I got no expectations,now all of these are just telling the story. So some are going to be less than others.
