I must admit to a couple of Free Bird screams in my day. So annoying when others do it but feels great when you do. Your daughter was listening Santeria? Good Taste. That's from when I was in High school, I grew tired of it as it was on a frigin loop 24/7 on the Local station. Nice to listen to again...been a while

LOL, I think the 1st line says " I don't practice Santeria " ...but there are some disturbing lines in that song, without context of video. She does have Good taste in Music, lol, IMHO, but for sure at that point in time my mind switched from, lol, as much as possible, from being " seduced " to being a Mom, not sure how to explain that exactly ?

By "seduced" , I mean stupid things, that were really kinda fun at the time, but came with dangers, so it was always an internal battle of how to direct her in the right direction, knowing that I had done so may stupid things myself ? LOL, sorry, don't mean to de-rail the flow of your cool thread Sab.

What's interesting is that She listens to a lot of old school music, lol, stuff made before she was born ! Yeah, probably influenced to some degree by her family... IDK...I guess you're getting old when you say " Music isn't what it used to be "... but the fact that she's not " Wow-ed " with any new bands lately,is interesting ?

This song has helped me through times of feeling blue. It is a blues tune.

That is a new band to me. There is so much music out there I haven't heard. I'm thinking that there is a lot of music from across the pond that is pretty awesome also and would like to get a chance to hear. Canada has a lot of great bands!! I see that is where this band is from.

Too much music to listen to in a lifetime. That became a little popular in the late 90's, don't know what they're up to. Some of the best and worst music I've heard came from bands a little dive bars that never even made it. The music Industry has silenced so many great talents.

Bob Seger definitely!

Cars

Lunatic Fringe, one of my all time fav's! I think it became even more popular with the TV show 'Miami Vice'.
