I've never understood why we assume Aliens would invent the same communication methods we have. Who's to say an alien world would have radio waves, what if the mineral composition of their planet or the atmosphere makes radio waves unusable, they might have gone down a different road.

Anybody looking into FRB's. CHIME is very likely to clear up the mystery soon.

We now have multiple repeating FRB's and current theory, combined with that evidence, points to a natural occurrence. I was staunchly convinced FRB121102 was artificial. Since we have a second repeating FRB, I have thrown that idea out, in favor of mainstream academia's theories.

There are dozens of very talented astronomers involved with that research, and I respect their work enough to endorse it, even if I want to believe so strongly that we are not alone, this isn't a convincing sign of that, as of right now.

I agree with you.

There are as many as 10,000 fast radio bursts everday coming from different parts of the sky each of them.

Statistically, the fact that some of them repeat falls within the ranges of coincidence.

That's why I didn't include them in the top 5.
