In Nixon's case, Democrats controlled both the House and Senate, so he likely would have been removed.

With Clinton, it was always a long-shot that he would be removed. So he fought it, and won.

A Trump impeachment would end up like Clinton's. The only charges that could be brought based on what we know are pretty minor. Without some sort of groundbreaking new evidence, the Senate won't remove him.

I am not talking about all billionaires, I am talking about criminal billionaires.

Aren't people suggesting Trump is some type of hardcore criminal, openly working for the Russians while POTUS? That would make him a billionaire crime boss. You'd think Trump would know how to use his money to hide his criminal activity if he is slick enough to work for Russians while being POTUS.

This is all ridiculous anyway. We all know the entire Russian accusation was invented by Trump's opponents in order to open a door to start "legal" investigations. Once the door was opened, those investigations looked for anything they can use to hurt Trump no matter if it was Russian related or not.

Again, that is how big league lawyers play ball. They get in on a false accusation (A), and while they are legally in they look for any and all contradictions, misspeaks, or data points that are not 100% accurate even if they are not related (B). They build a case that you are guilty of (A) because you once did something guilty people do (B).

They tried that with Justice Kavanaugh. They falsely accused him of sexual assault (A), then during legal proceedings they tried to catch him in any lie they could find, for example, his answers on how often he drank beer, and if he ever blacked out while drinking (B). For a moment they tried to catch him in a lie about (B) to somehow make him look guilty of (A).

It's a type of "relevance fallacy", and it's dangerous.

Not sure he was falsely accused, but his accuser did fail to provide sufficient proof so, apart form exposing him as an intellectually incompetent ass, it's fair that the accusation itself was discounted in the consideration.

It's easy to get the idea that Michael Cohen was focused only on the Trump org., but that's just not true. Long before 2006, when he became a lawyer for the Trump organization, he was involved in all kinds of wheelings and dealings, especially with his Ukrainian born father in law.

Look at Cohen's history, his family ties, his Chicago connections, his Democrat Party association (he didn't register as a Republican till 2017). He voted for Barack Obama.

Cohen's nefarious connections don't involve Trump. Cohen's little side ventures have him in hot water with some seriously bad dudes, imo, and he's doing everything he can to keep himself and his family from being fitted with cement shoes.

"by all accounts" multiple people that offered their "accounts" are currently under Federal Indictment for lying to the FBI and Courts.
