You're arguing from a this position that more people with insurance paying more money inherently means improved services.

You might check out a logical fallacy list sometime.

And perhaps a local Textbook Fascism Anonymous meeting.

Sorry , the dems own obamacare top to bottom . No republican has a yes vote on the original law. That's where the nuclear option came from . The republicans also failed to repeal it and Trump is the one who used an EO to get rid of the penalty . Blame both parties for the mess we are in , just fix the damn thing .

Actually one republican did vote for it.
Just sayin....

The ACA got zero Republican votes.

Look it up.

Maybe you should look that up buddy.
one republican did vote yes on the original bill.

You made the claim. Name the Republican.

Sorry but no, Trump does not. Republicans' failure to fix healthcare they own, but not the ACA mess created by Democrats. Both parties suck on healthcare.

No. I'm arguing that the ACA placed certain requirements on insurance carriers which did not exist prior to the ACA. Foremost, probably, being that pre-existing conditions cannot be considered in providing coverage or in determining premiums.

Some people seem to think those conditions are perfectly reasonable and that someone who has had cancer (that would be me) can be denied coverage or else be priced out of the market. Sounds fair. Right?

Which has nothing to do with general quality of services for all.

I'd rather have affordable healthcare than health insurance.

When does that get discussed?

It doesn't. People are too busy wanting insurance companies to be charities and blaming everyone except the one who caused the problem.

Medical insurance rates weren't rising prior to the ACA?

Not as fast.

One thing I always find interesting are statistics....

Somewhere along the line I found this

I wonder what it all means?

Heritage was for a mandate on catastrophe insurance only. I don't recall Romney supporting national ACA, he supported it at the State level.

I knwo, its about it being unconstitutional to force people into servitude to corporations, whether they like it or not, whether they can afford it or not, whether they need it or not. That's not America, that's Moussolini's Fascist Italy stuff.

Yeah. The "left", and a lot of people who may lose their medical insurance because of pre-existing conditions and stuff.

I guess.

Perhaps if they hadn't bought into a garbage system so full of deceit to begin with.

It means we were all getting ripped off with a gun held to our heads while the insurance companies made billions.
