Is it just me or is a Truckload of pop ups assaulting your screen when on ATS recently?

The redirects happen on my iPad and on my android phone. They don’t happen on any other website, and they don’t happen every day. But they happen enough to keep me off of ATS much more than usual.

Yeah, it was a problem about a month ago that lasted a couple weeks. Then it went away. Yesterday was the first time I literally couldn’t get on the site the whole day. As I mentioned already, I spent over an hour trying to fix it, to no avail....

yeah i get them constantly but thats how they support the board and i just ignore them otherwise id be pilling my last few hairs out and i be readdy for the rubber room. gee i've never been unable to log on because of pop ups but i only use my desk top but i do get crazy adds and pop ups on my phone
and i dont use data on my phone but it uses my wifi when home

Yes and its really annoying.

I have the same problem. I get an ad that pops up and says congratulations! And I cant back out of most of them , sometimes I have to hit the back button three times. Even then most times I have to close my browser.....gets pretty annoying.
It doesn't do it as much in desktop mode, but then everything is too small to read ..... please fix this someone....

Not only the pop up ads but sometimes while just reading a thread, I will be redirected off of ATS to an advertisement page. That's only on mobile though.

I recommend use Brave browser. Has a built in ad blockers and free crypto currency. Tis the future.

strange how it only happens here, on ATS. And porn sites lol. No other website i've visited has these redirects.

I'm still getting those ads on my phone that completely obscure several topics on the New topic page. And there is no way to close that. No way to click through it. All I can do is hit the New button again and hope that the obscuring ad doesn't show that time.

And before the usual member comes in saying to use the website version on my phone... no thanks. Having to scroll all around and zoom in and out on my tiny phone screen is a terrible experience and makes for a frustrating time. We shouldn't have to do 10 steps to accomplish what others can do in one.

The redirects I haven't experienced often thank goodness. I am seeing the constant banners at top and bottom of every page, but at least I can close the bottom one out. One thing I am noticing though is I'll often get significant lag on the site while those banners are trying to load in. It gets bad enough that at times, the site freezes and doesn't respond to any clicks at all.

The pop ups and redirects are on my iPad and iPhone only on ATS. It makes me crazy. I don't have a desktop at home, only an iPad.

All problems involving ads go in THIS THREAD created specifically for that purpose.

We've been notified and are looking into this illegal ad. We don't allow these ads so it's an anomaly that is hurting both ATS and our mobile ad provider, rest assured if it's within our power to remove it will be removed.

If it's an injection by your provider or a hacker who has gained regional powers within your ISP's servers, then there's nothing we can do.

If that is the case we need you all complaining to your ISP because it's killing all the independant web.

On mobile I always get redirected to some sort of Costco scam website, I say scam because its not actually Costco.com....


I feel dirty when it happens.

I use Verizon for Mobile

Xfinity for the house.
