I have been watching non MSM videos and reading comments.
A very common theme is coming to light, they do not want Muslims/Migrants in France/ Belgium that region.

Macron is the French version of Hillary.

Really all that needs to be said.

The protests are being used by different people for different ends.

I think I'd be protesting living in France if I did live in France. But then again, I'd probably not be all that happy no matter where I was. Still, I think France seems like even more of a #hole than the US.

Its symptoms ýou describe IMHO.

I think it is an accumulation of years of being lied to, getting policies not voted for and being told what to do.

Drops in the bucket.

People are sick and tired of the political system.

Not just France, it's everywhere and tptb are trying very hard to isolate the cases, they are terrified it will become a western or even global movement.

Be the same as the US, some people hate immigration and some people hate the politics. The protests will be about both issues and many more as well

This madness has become like yearly “festival” for decades in France with different dates, nothing new here and nothing seriously going to happen.

Looks like a reaction to everything the EU has foisted upon Europeans; over-taxation and regulation, open borders and a seeming bias towards immigrants instead of citizens. The socialist utopia isn't selling any more.

Doesn’t seem to be focused on muslims or immigration from what ive read.

Seems to be the fact that Macron is an elitist and continued to put his foot on the neck of the people, while relieving the burden on the rich. Ass-backwards, so he is being bitch going into hiding and the people arent backing down until he resigns.

Awesome!!!

I think it is a combination of stupid moves by the French government. The gas tax, the migrants, and the suppression of the people as someone here told me. They have had it, the elite cannot comprehend the stress they are putting on their citizens there.

Seems they're finally sick of the EU's horsecrap and going after multiple manifestations of said horsecrap within their once sovereign nation.

I'm sure that adds to it.

Let's try something. Raise gas prices in the US to $6-7/gallon and see what happens.

I’ve spoken to several people on a couple of paris livestreams, and asked them just that: “what is the real reason”. While many say it started out with tax, it is also general discontent with the globalists. This might be an awakening that will spread as it is already done in the Netherlands and belgium beit on a smaller scale. What would be a real gamechanger, is if germany would join. I believe that there are the most upset people, but it will take just a little bit more to take ‘em over the edge, but if they do, # will definitely hit the spinning blades. What happens today, could determine whether it will be taken to the next level. The general consensus is that it will not just go away.

This isnt about migrants its about the fact the french cant afford to live anymore. With increasing taxes the loss of jobs many french are losing their homes and this protest goes alot further than most realize.

Funny you should say that as I have been thinking if Clinton would have won we would probably be seeing the same stuff in the USA for many of the same reasons.. Open borders, taxes for global warming, more gas taxes because petroleum is bad plus more tax stuff than most normal people can think of...

Uhhhh. were not those the reasons for the mass exodus from England? Unfortunately, we didn't learn our lessons.

support of her traitorous deal with the EU .......I wonder what the EU has

promised her for selling out the UK?
