Why would there not be booms from a large building on fire and collapsing. Everything from industrial air conditioning units exploding, floor slabs giving way, and floor connections braking. You mean loud booms like a trash truck dumping metal dumpsters? As in metal crashing into metal.

Now produce evidence of a boom resulting from an explosion with the force to cut steel columns, that would have visible effects of a shockwave, which would create specific a type of shrapnel ejected at high speed, and would be accompanied with seismic activity.
