well ultimately yes , and once we each have our own new constitutions for the people we can make a new union where we are all equal!

and then enter into a new United group of nations

but lets not call it a kingdom

No reference to the CIS2 database for criminal charges for european citizens in the bill

so looks like we wont have access to the list of offenders that could possibly be coming into the UK

For those who care to do some research, the EU sells more to the UK than the UK sells to the EU, the EU needs the UK more than the UK needs the eu, I dont think I can put ity any simpler, the spanish will still want to sell us theirt veg, the french will still want to sell us their wine and cheese, the Dutch will want to sell us their tulips, Sweden will want to sell us wood, either uncut or cut, Whaterver the krauts mutter, UK is a big car market for them, italy will want someone to buy their hams and cheese, Greese will want our tourists, where do half the parts come from for the aircraft assembled at Toulouse ? And the jet engines ?
As for meat products before that stupid sod grocer heath signed, we bougt our meat from South America, Australia, and New Zealand, Lets hope they got over being stabbed in the back by said grocer, and are willing to sell to us once more.
THE UK WILL SURVIVE.

Ditto.

And still do.

Can still remember the first time I listened to The Bollocks and Clash albums, blew me away.
Shaped my whole outlook on life.

THE UK WILL SURVIVE.

It Will

As I said in another thread.......

Now that the deal has hit a brick wall and a clean 'leave Brexit' is staring
us in the face ...... The ECJ has very kindly (sarcasm) found a loophole that
didn't previously exist!! (smirk)

They have decided that the actioning of article 50 can be null and voided and
unlike as previously believed that if we would get back into the EU it would be
with less privilages will not in this instance be the case.

(Anyone believing that is imo minus a few brain cells)

Get the picture

The UK is being herded back into the EU coral

Theresa May's deal with its dodgy backstop is the only one on the table and the
only one the EU is prepared to accept ( I WONDER WHY) But hey!!! the good old
EU have generously found a way for the UK to stay in and save face

Now call me cynical ..........But

Who's need to keep the UK in the EU is greater? Who is pulling the strings?

Just saw on sky news that there are 1 million EU citizens in the UK now registered to vote.

So when the "People who vote the right way" vote happens, there's a good chance that the ruling classes will have their way and we will all be enslaved in the EU machine forever.

Can't pretend I am surprised. I am deeply disappointed though and frankly, it's the end of any moral authority parliament ever had over my life.
Hell, I might start smoking again, just so I can support the black economy and buy the knock off stuff.

You can only vote in UK if you are a UK, Irish or commonwealth citizen resident in the UK.

Russia was also a massive market for them Krauts too........................ But in a similar situation they took a hit on that market and did what the government wanted, sanctions. Have no delusion, German manufacturers work hand in hand with their government and if push comes to shove the UK will be ditched in a similar manner

hahahah belter I remember the first time I consciously listened to anarchy in the UK , it was in primary 4 and me and my mate Johhny McGregor left primary school which we werent supposed to do and went to spend our lunch time in his house at the scheme across the road from the school
we went in chucked doon our bags and johnny said lets listen to the pistols , we put anarchy in the Uk on and jumped around on his mums couches with our school ties around our heads !

So if that was primary 4 , id have been 7 or 8 I think !

So that would have been 1988 or there abouts hahaha

Quality.

I go back a bit earlier than that.

It was 1977 and I was in the last year at Primary school and watched The Stranglers on Top of The Pops.
They weren't allowed to play Peaches which was the A Side so they 'played' Go Buddy Go which was on the flip side.

Of course they had to mime so JJ Burnel and Hugh Cornwell swapped instruments and Cornwell is strumming chords on the bass while JJ is playing bass lines on the guitar which also happens not to have any strings - basically taking the piss out of the farce that was TOTP.

Next day I went to school and one other kid was as fascinated as me and we then started looking in to everything that was punk.
All around the time my brother bought first The Clash then Never Mind The Bollocks albums.

Never been the same since.

R.I.P. Pete Shelley, great songwriter, lovely person and in it from the start.

Perhaps we should get this thread back on track....or simply agree the whole Brexit debate, vote and subsequent exit negotiations have been a complete and utter farce and have not been carried out in good faith.
The interests and well being of ordinary, everyday British people have been the last thing the politicians and civil servants have considered during all of this debacle and outright charade.

Smash it up springs to mind!

Prime Minister BORIS JOHNSON has a simple plan to legally stop BREXIT extension..

If this simple procedure is true, wow… It would mean all of last week’s parliamentary teeth gnashing by the usurping Never-Brexit MP’s was essentially irrelevant.

According to a Reuters report, Prime Minister Boris Johnson simply needs to attach a letter to the Brexit delay legislation saying the U.K. government officially does not request any extension beyond October 31st. Then ignore it.

That was easy.

What are the chances that we ask for an extension and the answer is "no"?

Very slim , it would give us an open door to walk through.
EU leaders can say what they want but if Germany signal they want an extension an extension will be granted.

Not so sure - france and netherlands have been giving indications they may say no unless we have good reasons to request an extension.

Boris can say to th EU that the British Govt does not want an extension - that is actually true.. the Govt do not want an extension beyond 31st.
However, he is still compelled by law - due to the actions of a traitorous Parliament - to ask the EU for an extension PLUS he has to accept the offer of an extension and bring it back to Parliament to vote on the offer.

It's not an overstatement to say that the UK Parliament are by far the most powerful negotiators on behalf of the EU. They have ensured the UK position at the negotiating table is as weak as it can possibly be.

I hope they do but seriously doubt they will , the decision ultimately belongs to Merkel and I don't think she wants us to leave without a deal , or at all , another extension is not what we need and will likely only lead to another extension or the end of Brexit.

Extensions suit the EU , it gives them more time to turn the screws and the 5th Columnists in Parliament to launch more legal challenges.
