Alien conspiracy theories swirl after FBI evacuates space observatory and refuses to say why

That area is the coolest in the nation...there Are deer everywhere... hwy by Cloudcroft is covered with deer hit by cars..

I'd go flyover it but it's right by White Sands.....one can see the whole white valley...Cloudcroft is way up high on a huge plateau.....huge drop on the highway when going West fromt Cloudcroft which is the neatest street scene....the people walking.....so like the hippy days with nature lovers walking and smiling friendly like.

Maybe this is going to be a landing site like in Close Encounters. Maybe this will coincide with FEMA's September 20th nation wide test of the emergency broadcast system.

With 10s of thousands of telescopes looking at the sky at any time, I doubt anything is going on with the sun or anything else, that wouldn't be seen by other scopes or observatories. There was probably a bomb or biological weapon threat at the nearby post office, so they closed it, and the nearby facilities. Makes no sense that something happened at the observatory and they cleared the post office as well. Unless they were really thinking ahead, and trying to have an alibi for the closing.

But again.. unless they somehow zero'd in on an alien ship, it's probably just something at the post office, that they safely evacuated nearby facilities.

Look at the location. It looks right down on Holloman and WSMR.

In all due respect, this thread you mention deserves the traffic and a week earlier than this present one. That thread brought the whole incident to ATS, and Aliens is just one of the many suspected reasons that this place was shut down by the FBI.
