Good. We need to make a list and go right on down the line. Any company that is discriminating against us should be boycotted.

Facebook
Twitter
Youtube
MSM
Any establishment that discrimonates against conservatives or Republicans.

Hi! We hate you and what you think, but we sure do like your money! Just give us all that you have and we'll talk crap about you after you leave.

Has potential!, only thing that might make it better or more appealing would be to add

...and we promise to never intentionally spit in your food again

Dem's ask for boycot of In and Out and people flock to them. Dem owner of Red Hen throws out Sarah Sanders and people no longer visit the town.

How is bashing restaurants working for you now?

What is "In and Out"?

It is a very popular burger place as I hear it. We got one here in my area a couple or 3 years ago. Never been there myself, still a Texas 'whataburger person' here.

LOL they kinda had that a coming after that stunt. Now they can serve whom they want and kick out who they want but maybe they should have considered the consequences. Money is money in my mind. I don’t care if you are of the same beliefs as me. I woundl’t care if a place had a whites only and a blacks only section. But they should know that will afffect business. Stupid restaurant owner got what she deserved IMHO.

This crisis provides the opportunity for us to do things that you could not before.

Perhaps, that small community could reach out to resistance HQ in VA... Charlottesville... They have plenty of $$$$ ...

Will be interesting to see if that community helps out, considering they were following CVille's lead?

They seems to be a regional burger chain centred around Southern California:

No business should get publicly involved with siding with political ideology. In this case one business hurt the whole town.

I think that the locals should stop going to that restaurant because the owners ignorance hurt the local economy of the whole town.

I never ever would talk politics or polarize myself politically when I was in business. Even big corporations would donate to both sides and try to stay neutral so they could benefit from a win from either side. I think that the intelligence of our population is going down the drain these days, intelligence is directly related to wisdom or rationality.

I'm trying to imagine what kind of digital ad campaign they could do to undo the damage here.

Anyone have any good ideas?

Sure, big bold print, The Red Hen is under new management!!!

Y'all prolly won't hear from a lot of leftists in this thread (and I likely sit left of those 'leftists'). In some ways it's because this is something they can't really go against. If we agree that people can operate a business how they want and have the right to refuse service to whom they want (despite some back and forths, I actually do think a sizable portion of both left and right do agree here), then this may be the consequence of that agreement.

But what is also apparent is that despite chanting the song of freedom and that we are all equal, we (from all sides) seek to harm people, literally destroy their life, out of some sort of 'retribution' for them just following what we believe they have the right to do. And especially if you believe that, you'd think that you wouldn't find joy in their demise. That seems highly petty to me. But maybe despite my way-left leanings, I'm still all for 'live and let live'.

But hey, if we believe in 'survival of the fittest' then perhaps we are just strengthening the heard? Stomping out dissenters? Maybe it's just kinda a slow way of dragging everyone into a more unified mass. You all must like us or be punished for it.

A simple apology, both in general, and to the family would go a long ways towards fixing it.

But, people are stubborn.

Nice!

A bit of justice, good find.

No.

By stop visiting the town, simply because the owner lives there, they are doing to the town, what the owner did to Sarah Sanders.

Loads of business, mom and pop shops, suffers. Where is the justice in that?

Justice would have been flocking to the restaurants competitor.

If you don't live in that town, and hear that at least one of the businesses in that town are being, shall we say, rude--which is as good a descriptor as any. Why would you drive all that way and run the risk of other businesses being the same way??

I wouldn't. I'd stay local.

That restaurant owner made her bed, unfortunately, for at least the short term, the rest of the local businesses seem to be sharing it.

Justice? Maybe not. Predictable? Very.

What is "In and Out"

As much as I detest California, In-N-Out is probably about as close to nirvana as you can get here on Earth!

While i disagree with business making political statements, i find it sad that chic-fil-a flourishes still.

They flourish because the are, have always been, and will always be a Christian centered, far right business. They don’t pander to the left, don’t pretend to pander, and never will. You know exactly what your getting, so either your ok with it and go, not ok with it and don’t, or don’t give a fly f$)
, and just want a decent chicken sandwich.

Cheers,

Camain

And they have the best service I have ever seen.

I like to get the Chicken noodle soup in winter and the tortilla soup in the summer too. I don't eat there to be a christian I eat there because the food is good.

Lexington Virginia is home to Washington and Lee University, with a reputation for being a fairly conservative, right leaning student and faculty culture. Eventually this will blow over.
While I am, personally, not a fan of Sarah Sanders (in fact I am fed up with both parties!), I believe the owner and staff of Red Hen acted inappropriately, they could have used their free speech in other ways. Good manners and civility are essential to a free society. The owner cold have written a quick note expressing her views and handed it to Sanders with her check. The wait staff could have introduced themselves as they served her and politely informed her that they were gay....whatever... all actions have consequences.
