I love making mango salsa with seared tuna... yummy.

Looking forward to trying this. If I think to, I'll post an update here.

Yes, the limbs were heavy! We used branches to hold ours up.

Got a bumper crop of tomatoes this year, too.

Have a good one, olaru

Peach ice cream-- another really great suggestion. Thank you.

Hope you get a huge crop next year!

Haha, well we might agree on lots of great music but I never have and never will like that song.

I gave it another listen to see if my distaste of the song had cooled over the years and.. nope.

Another great suggestion. Great idea for a quick breakfast before school--the kids will love it.

Sounds like a bumper harvest for you in peaches. This year, regardless of the drought and bushfires my citrus have produced the largest crop ever. Bags of Mandarins, pomelo, cumquats and I've stopped picking lemons. Both lemon trees are breaking under the strain.

Been cutting lemons in half and feeding them to the fowls.

Sorry have no peach recipees.

Sad to hear about the fires, bally. A good amount of my state burned this summer and the air's been awful.

On the flip side, your harvest sounds lovely!

I have a lemon recipe for you, if you like desserts

These lemon bars are delicious.

I made some grilled peaches this weekend as a side to dish to the grilled steak. Brush with some olive oil and then drizzle with good, aged balsamic when they are done.

I also have lots of peaches and love balsamic vinegar. I'll do that tomorrow. Thanks for the idea. I'll get some aged cheese with that.

Nice crop. You could can them, then you'd have fresh peaches throughout the year. It's very easy to do. I'm waiting for some to ripen to can, I had to buy them though. But they are so good. You can put them on whatever, or just eat them as is out of the jar. I put them on pancakes sometimes. There's a lot of other good ideas here too.

Some pics of the trees.

Pomello

Lemon

Small Lemon tree

Bag of mandarins. One of several. Giving them away and selling them.

Might notice the surrounding ground quite dry even though we had a couple of showers.

Kind regards,

bally

Those trees are really remarkable, bally! You weren't joking about the lemon tree-- I'll bet that was so nice and fragrant in the spring

Thanks for sharing the pics, loved them. Also hope you enjoy the lemon bars!

This is probably what I'll end up doing once I run out of ways to prepare/serve them (thanks so much to ATS for all the great ideas).

Different seasons Zos, It's winter here at the moment. The trees blossomed late summer after a good fall of rain.

Spring, September, is just a couple of days away.

Kind regards,

bally

I've got my work cut out for me, but I really love all of these ideas.

Preserves sound great and if I end up canning I'll throw in a jar or two.

Hope whoever reads this is enjoying his/her evening!

That's offensive.

All you had to do was write:
his/her/pan/transgender/furry/brony/otherkin/2spirit/neutrois/bigender/tranny/2person/polygender/hermy/asexual/ecosexual/multiple personality

instead of:
his/her

and your peachy keen here wouldnt have turned into hate speech.

Hates peach?

LOL... something about this pic...

I knew I was entering contentious territory with my peach thread!

I do apologize for any offense. The title alone is very suggestive....

Wouldn't the little 'nubby bit normally go at the top?
