But I'm not sure you are correct. If information is verified, what's the point of a warrant? The allegations provided by the dossier, if true, would seem to be sufficient evidence on their own to prove conspiracy.

After he humiliated this Mudd character, all of a sudden it's an issue.

No, he has proof of the payoffs. Those are two very different things. Like every other single claim (from the debunked dossier to the Russia-conspiracy claims) you all have taken real life events and added extra "alt-facts" and spin to them in order to make them detrimental to Trump.

You can't simply connect as many dubious dots as you like. You have to actually support each "leap" with tangible evidence, and not someone's mere word (especially a known liar with contradictory claims on record who is now trying to stay out of prison for unrelated issues - which is why Mueller isn't handling it)
