After I saw the last jedi I lost all hope that I will ever she the star wars I once loved again.
Maybe Disney listens to its fans and makes a good movie this time but I will not be holding my breath...
There is a load of fan fiction out there that would have made a great movie.

Solo bombed as a direct result of the last jedi.
I didn't see the movie yet but I hear is fair but not great. Redbox for me.

I thought The Force Awakens was a fine and classic Star Wars style movie..

The Last Jedi and Solo, not so much.
Because of those last two I'll probably hold off on seeing the next one in a theater.

The last jedi was a flaming bad of dog poop on our front porch.

I am really shocked that they have found a way to keep Carrie in the movie, I hope that they are doing it properly and not going to make a mess of it by trying to recycle old footage. Its also interesting that they even bothered to announce her, it would have been a nice surprise to find out that actually she is in it while sitting in the movie theatre seeing it for the first time. I don't think they had Frank Oz announced for the last Jedi.

Mark Hamill is also going to be back, I think everyone knew that he would return though.

I like the Last Jedi, but really didn't like Solo all that much yet I am excited for this movie and lets not forget we have the live action TV show coming out next year and Star Wars resistance coming out later this year. I always say to people who have gone of the movies that in the Star Wars universe the movie just make up a part of the entire thing so if you don't like the movies you will probably find something else that you will like in the other media. For example the Darth Vader comic is absolutely amazing.

So be it on the Force Awakens..What I know while watching it and when leaving from it is I felt like I was 15 again watching the original 3 movies. It gave me that same sort of feeling.

The Last Jedi gave me the exact opposite of that.

I am really torn on this issue.

On the one hand, I think that yeah, overall it would have worked better to have just killed her in that ship, on the other hand I am glad they let the movie finish out giving Carrie her last full movie as our princess as it was meant to be.

It's like you say, there is so much great sorce material available that there is no reason to make a terrible movie.

My favorite part is how they waited until the entire fleet was destroyed before they made the brilliant move to escape.

i read the press release, 'the finale of the skywalker saga'
there are no skywalkers in the movie, because kennedy/johnson sh!t on the mythology and destroyed star wars.
she wanted to prove her characters were better than lucas's.

BUT there is hope.

if you saw the ending of REBELS, there is hope.

lets hope disney lets dave filoni take over the creative direction. not sure he can save what they did to luke, but he could turn someone else into the hero of the saga.

the ending of rebels, this hero is more than up to the task.
rebels was canon no less.

the last 4-5 episodes of rebels was the real 'star wars'

IMHO, Episode 7 was not that good,

BUT daisy ridley did an amazing job.

Seeing Han and Leia together again, would make any star wars fan happy

I'll have to admit it that I'm not that excited to see this next movie. Tlj is a decent sci-fi movie but a terrible Star Wars movie. Disney is changing "the force" and that's not good for the franchise.

Probably the most accurate yet depressing description of the modern films.

People hate me for saying that there are only THREE real Star Wars movies, the rest is ...meh!
Nothing after them could even nearly reach the first three produced episodes, their magic.

A nod to princess Leia done well will be fine as its a bit like a nod to the Brigadeer in Dr Who, doesn't take up much time and in a good plot moment.

I'm gonna give them more of money.

I'm real picky about the movies I'll drop $50 to see.
3 tickets with a big popcorn and drinks are mandatory.

This year has been avengers, super troopers and deadpool. I'm not sure what's coming out later this year.

Yeah, TLJ’s director really messed things up by completely ignoring what JJ was setting up. All the mystery boxes I wanted answered either completely ignored or trivialized. Two years of fan theories thrown out the window! No fun! All that amongst many other problems with TLJ.

But Disney is bringing back JJ to direct episode 9 so I have hope!

Help us JJ, you’re our only hope!
