I think a Christian man needs a nice exterior covering a spine of steel.

Some things you do not compromise on. There is no compromise with evil, but what is evil? Sin is evil, but people are not sin. Sin is action against God, and you cannot compromise on that. A wrong act is a wrong act. But people are not actions. They do actions.

A Christian man should seek to be pleasant to the person, but harsh on the action. And when the person protests over the action, you need the spine of steel to stand firm. You don't always need to be mean about standing firm, every parent knows this, but it's still hard to stand firm, especially when "everyone's doing it!"

Only the Christian ones? This is what is wrong with religion, it separates rather than bring together. Personally, I prefer to honor the truth from my perspective, we are part of a greater power and there is no such thing as religion, it is an energy we are all attached to.

That being said, we are always in the "End Times" on planet Earth, try living for the promise of tomorrow and the serenity of today, no matter what the climate (temperature or otherwise), life is precious no matter where it is, who you are (human), where you are (here or there), where you are from (Orion, Pleiades), we all have a sacred geometry that runs through us, at least that is my theory.

Idk when the end times are, but im a Christian man, the 7 feasts were foretold thousands of years ago, 4 have been completed andd one when they were told they would be done. Jesus's birth was foretold 1500 years before he came to this earth, thousands of babies were murdered when the king was looking for him. The 5th feast is the only one that is unknown to man and angels but only god knows. That feast will be the rapture. This isn't some elaborate prank done by someone thousands of years ago, this is as real as it gets. You ever noticed the similarities between aliens and possessions?

By that time it will be too late for none believers because he will be coming back for those who believe in him and to throw the beast back in hell and reign on earth for a millennium.

I had a friend who was preparing for the end times all his life. He was so convinced Jesus would return in his lifetime. He died 15 years ago. It just seems to me anyone reading this will be long dead and gone before Jesus returns.

As far as Christian men being too soft doesn't seem accurate to me. I know several stand-up Christians who work their butts off trying to create a better life for the people around them according to the disciplines of their religion.

I'm not a big fan of Christianity because it seems to me to be a religion promoting slavery and authoritarianism. Worshiping power for the sake of power is not what I would expect from an omnipotent God of unconditional love. It seems to me an omnipotent God of unconditional love would be slightly more egalitarian and forgiving than all the judgments I read in the Bible. What is evil and what is not evil is very subjective and open to many interpretations.

What proof do you have of this. Jesus is not coming back. He's dead and dead people do not come back. Why has God not performed any of his miracles in the last 2000 years. Because he doesn't exist.

There were a lot of reluctant leaders and unsure heroes in the Bible (Gideon, Moses etc)

Christian men don’t need to be strong, at least not how modern culture define strength. Christian men get their strength from God, not from themselves. They surrender to Him and fully depend on His strength... so, truly, every man can be a mighty warrior in the kingdom. God can use anyone... and that strength can look different in different circumstances.

I get some of the frustration the author is expressing but ... what’s wrong with friendship evangelism? Jesus was a friend of sinners.

After reading the article, I just thought that I’m glad I’m a woman. Thanks for posting it, though, it was interesting.

Jesus never left.. The Ones who think He ever left and will then return, have been duped. They bit on a religion™ that was started by Men (discounting the importance of Mary Magdalene in the formation of the Church™ AND the Rule Book...)

He comes for all of us at the end of days whether they be the end of our days or the End of Days. So it is wise to always be ready because you never know when He will come.

The bible was written and all the prophecies were foretold 1000's of years ago, starting 1500 years before Jesus was born. But one day god will allow them to bring destruction on earth. anyway, I dont think we will see it in our life time but I could be wrong, im still researching but this is what I gathered. Tom Delonge the musician from Blink 182 is declaring the ABC organizations are disclosing alien info to him but in all honesty I think it's garbage and disinformation. Delonge does have proof of having contacts with high ranking CIA FBI kinda people but again, I think it's fake.

Sorry, Mamma, but I think that the article is not so much about how Christian men should be, but about political left/right leanings in America at the moment.

The fruits of the Spirit are those "soft" attributes and it makes no sense to be belligerent for the sake of belligerence.

I think that when Christian men have something to stand against, then they will stand strong. I know that I am by nature a peacemaker but I have also at times stood up unflinchingly for what is right, even at risk of immanent physical danger.

Many things like political and social acceptance of LGBT people and so forth are really based upon expressing God's grace in our lives (i.e: the sin isn't sexual attraction, the sin is sexual promiscuity) and explaining that they can be forgiven.

Too many confuse legalism and right wing leanings with Christianity. They aren't.

Similarly, for 400 years, Christianity was officially persecuted on governmental edict. Still today there are governments who persecute and discriminate against people on the basis of their Christian faith.

It seems that your idea of what Christianity entails, does not match up with the truth.

That "omnipotent God of unconditional love" has given us forgiveness, in Jesus Christ.

Also, the rules that govern Christians are:

1. Love God above all else.
2. Love others as much as you love yourself.

Christianity shows God's forgiveness and an all encompassing rule-set that allows for us to make mature determination of what is right and wrong.

Even in the Old Testament, when God had just given the 10 Commandments (and the 613 sub-commandments), God instituted a way of determining future law based upon appeal to the 'intent of the law' rather than on the strict article. What? Where have you been? Nearly every Christian church has seen examples of healing, which has been going on for thousands of years.

There is more objective historical proof for the existence of Jesus than there is for most historical people.

Not only that, but Christians have the subjective evidence of the Holy Spirit, internal to themselves.

The Holy Spirit infers abilities to Christians, at times: To speak in, and interpret languages that we have never learned. To prophecy about future events. To discern things that are beyond our five senses. To heal others & etc. Not that we have all these, all the time, but the Holy Spirit activates them when needed. Personally, I have experienced several of them.
