Intelligent people know what he meant and laugh at those making it something it never was. To gain favor with those in attendance, he stated he was the only president from Kenya because his heritage is from Kenya.

Anything else is just reaching.

During the World Cup I claimed Croatia as my homeland despite the fact that no one in my family has lived there since my great grandmother emigrated over 100 years ago.

I didn't know that "Missouri, Texas, North Carolina," are heritages to herald from.

Same size as countries on every other continent.

When people ask where I'm from I don't say "The US".

At least the OP called him Obama and not Hussein, like the other alt right people here do

progress is being made.

That would be because I am not alt right.

And as you can watch over and over in the entire speech....I didnt say he was from Kenya...he did.

Hold my beer...

You didn't say he was from Kenya,

title, "Obama is definitely from Kenya"

He never said that, and am pretty sure you know that what he actually said was that he was the first sitting American president to visit Kenya.

Still though, I guess that doesn't fit with your confirmation bias so lets ignore it.

Of course it doesn’t.

You’re a trump supporter, logic and reality is completely different for you.

Hmm, it would seem to me that saying ones father came from Germany and saying oneself came from Kenya are not the same - whether you are a Trump supporter or not.
It doesn't really matter. Obama is Kenyan and got away with it. He's out of office now.
At least it settles the debate and we now know he was lying about where he was from.
We can leave it there as there is nothing that can be done about it.

His family and his heritage lies in Kenya. His grandmother, aunts and uncles brothers and sisters, cousins, et al, are in Kenya. He is a Kenyan-American, who was born in Hawaii.

My family is all over the US...I have never said I'm from Missouri, Texas, North Carolina, etc...

Then you would be one of the rare people who don't mention where they originally are from. Some people say something like this "I live in Texas but am originally from North Carolina" or athlete, politician...etc wins election, trophy...etc in a certain state or city they are not from and will state "I make North Carolina proud by winning OR It must make North Carolina Proud to see one of their own up here...etc" .

I do say exactly where I am from when someone asks...Georgia. If I am overseas and they ask I say from the US then say Georgia.

My heritage is Irish....I have never said I'm from Ireland....

Did you listen to the video? His exact words are "Three years ago I visited as the first sitting American President to come from Kenya"

You also forgot the rest of the title of the OP.....

Semantics? He literally spoke the words. So if you want to argue semantics then please correct Obama....

He actually stated nothing of the sort. Please quote and post video clip of this.

Outside of that you are simply interpreting his words as you wish.

My OP stated what he actually spoke.

He isn't Kenyan though and as already explained to you even if he had been born in Kenya he would still qualify for POTUS through his mother so the point is mute.

There is zero proof to back up your assertion that he was born in Kenya.

Now you can tell me that you believe he his Kenyan until you go blue in the face, thats fine, if you want to wallow in ignorance by continuing to hold a belief that is contradicted by factual documentation then you go for it. Just don't expect others to join you because you found a 18 second video clip that is obviously making reference to his heritage.

LOL! Ok...please quote where I said anything about him being POTUS.

And your argument is funny because he apparently identifies as Kenyan but everyone says he legally isn't.

Kinda like you may be a man and can tell me you're a woman until you're blue in the face....but you still have a penis and were born male.....

Talk about cultural appropriation....

He legally isn't Kenyan. Kenya doesn't allow adults to possess dual citizenship. Since Obama didn't renounce his US citizenship by the age of 23 his Kenyan citizenship was revoked.

There is zero proof that Obama was born in Kenya. FACT.

Even if he were born in Kenya then through is mother he would still have the constitutional grounds to be POTUS. FACT.

He was born in Hawaii. FACT

Everything else is a matter of opinion.

So it is your opinion that he was born in Kenya, that is not a opinion that is substantiated by facts nor is it a opinion held by a majority.

I mean seriously...I did not make up what he spoke from his own mouth.
