I shall take loads of pics if I can make it to TNmockingbirds place this year!
Not sure about the rifle though, I don't think it is allowed for foreign nationals, I'll rely on her and her family/friends to look after me.

...authority haha, I've never liked being told what to do, it's why I left home aged 16!
You'll be fine, just smile and pretend lol

100% guarantee you'll like it...

Once lived in a small town in eastern part of TN (Cleveland) and totally fell in love with the people there.

Some of the nicest people Iv'e ever met in fact after visiting 20 or so different countries.

Not to put down people in other places though, one of the most fascinating girls I have ever met was an ex belly dancer from Hamburg Germany.

It sounds amazing from what TNmockingbird tells me, friendly down to earth people.
The scenery and wildlife looks fantastic from all my searches, I really want to make it my mission to visit this year.

...never been to Germany, been round the world but Germany never appealed to me, met loads of German tourists in town this year though since the £ has dropped in value. All really friendly and polite, almost too polite though, like they need a couple of pints to chill out lol

i feel like my English skill got better since a few months ago lol, i don't do the Rusky style no more, for sure. Having real conversations made me figure out lots of ways i was wrong before 😁

Still loads of road ahead but i feel so happy about it now he he he he

The point I meant to make but didn't about the girl from Hamburg, there are amazing people in every corner of the world.

In fact the longer I live the more I become convinced that every single one of us on earth are incredibly amazing in more ways than we can possibly imagine.

We just haven't realized it yet.

Dang you got some memory! Living there was like stepping back in time about 30 years...

Kind of reminds me of Bedford Falls from Frank Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life".

I've met amazing people in every country I've visited.
I've met horrible people as well, thought I'd be killed, but the good people outnumber them everywhere.

I totally forgot where that street in Cleveland was that you mentioned so I had to go look it up (Craigmiles St)...

Apparently Mr. Potter hasn't taken over the town yet like he did in Bedford Falls LOL...

I've seen that, fantastic old film

I quite like some of the old black and white films, after a while I imagine colour.
12 Angry Men, and The 39 Steps are two other favourite B&W films of mine...and Night of the Living Dead of course, classic.

I sat here and stared at that picture and I still couldn't remember seeing it. I was enrolled in a Bible college two blocks down the street from there.

Some people have photographic memories, I seem to have NO memory most of the time...
