have any eye witness accounts of the shooter been given?

Because this happened to the news media we're going to hear about it for the next 24 hours nonstop.

Last week 22 people were shot at one time in New Jersey and most Americans don't even know it happened.

Shooter is a white male with a ponytail - apparently... as per police radio

CBS News sez shooter in custody...but NOT cooperating and NOT revealing his identity.
No ID on his person.

If a war on fake news is starting. You better hide under your bed. How many times have you complained about vague "sources" while using news stories with vague "sources" yourself.

Yet nobody has called you on it. But the misguided poster who wanted to blame the NRA, and all the right, gets ganged up on and told to shut up because people have died. That poster was wrong but we have another poster in here hoping its a war on all the news. Hoping for people to die. Not a peep.

All I can do is laugh at the hypocrisy at this point. The blinders people put on about people because they are ostensibly on the same team.

If I remember correctly, last time there was a media related shooting, it was an estranged lovers event. Perhaps we should wait to hear the actual motive(s) before we blame an ATS poster for causing it?

Was I blaming an ATS member for causing it? Or was I calling out a member for gleefully hoping a war on news is starting? Hoping for more death. While everyone was ganging up on another poster, rightfully, and telling them to shut up because people have died and that is a tragedy.

I also agree we should wait for all the facts. How was I not doing that? I have not speculated at all about this tragedy or the motives behind the shooting. Sorry if shoving everyones hypocrisy in their face upsets you.

Police arrived in 60 seconds and reportedly the shooter stop firing put down his weapon and walked out to them.

Maryland has some of the tuffest gun laws in the nation. They have reciprocity with no other states and issue a CC on an as needed basis. You must have a good reason to carry a weapon.

I saw that NJ one, I don't even recall seeing a thread on ATS about it. Maybe I missed it though.

But I agree with you, the media will use this to make themselves all victims of the anti media "witch hunt".
