The company is teasing the change on social media by holding polls that allow people to guess what the “b” stands for. Choices include biscuits, bacon, butternut squash and barnacles.

Lower case b looks like an upside down p. I predict it will be some lame "We're turning pancakes upside down" nonsense in which they add a few new ideas to the menu like pineapple upside down pancakes, stuffed breakfast pancakes, pancake burgers where the bun is now pancakes, etc.

It's the typical mass marketing foolishness. Slap lipstick on a pig and see how many folk believe said pig is now a looker.

Maybe it's a promotional in conjunction with the new Miss America (No longer a beauty)pageant in which IHOb will hire contestants as waitresses while changing their name to International House of Butterfaces?
