North Korea cancelled high-level talks with South Korea, saying the South's joint military exercises with the US were a "provocation" and rehearsal for invasion.

Pyongyang then accused US national security adviser John Bolton of making "reckless statements" after he suggested the North could follow a "Libya model" of denuclearisation.

That was a reference to Libya's former leader, Muammar Gaddafi, who agreed to give up nuclear weapons in 2003 and was later killed by Western-backed rebels.

Mr Trump, however, later denied the US would follow the "Libyan model" if an agreement was reached with North Korea.
"The model, if you look at that model with Gaddafi, that was a total decimation," he said.

"We went in there to beat him. Now, that model would take place if we don't make a deal, most likely. But if we make a deal, I think Kim Jong-un is going to be very, very happy."

The U.S. holds all the cards with North Korea. They are becoming broker and hungrier by the week. Trump is waiting for Kim to BEG.

Nope, China holds all the cards when it comes to NK, Russia comes in second.

So, Trump said there's still a good chance there will be a meeting.
He has been saying since the very beginning that maybe it will work out, maybe it won't. He never said it was a done deal. He always said we will see what happened.

Un's tone changed after he met with China. I think that China/Un/Trump are playing a complicated three-way chess match right now. They all want to get the check mate, and things are going to be tricky for a bit. Trump has known this all along. Luckily, this kind of action is what Trump lives for, so I think we have a good chance of it working out.

Wow how quickly the people jump at the OP for posting something anti-trump.

DC, xu, cwm... you won't find a single Trump thread that doesn't have these three spamming through it to push the agenda their way. Using image, meme and emoji to try and distract from any meaning. None of these posters have ever posted anything of substance, let that sink in.

I think the OP was asking why hasn't it been mentioned since the same people in here attacking him over it being "delayed' and Trump suggesting it might now happen

They said from the get go...North Korea does XYZ it happens... if they drag their feet or don't accomplish things.. it doesn't.

Not rocket science if you don't hold these guys to the rules laid down they will welch, so hold them accountable.

For the NK people's sake, I hope the summit happens before they're all eating bird droppings...or the birds. Sanctions are hurting big time.
