Donald Trump said there was a “very substantial chance” that his summit next month with the North Korean leader, Kim Jong-un, could be postponed.

Trump raised doubts over the timing of the summit, due in Singapore on 12 June, at a White House meeting with the South Korean president, Moon Jae-in.
“We’re moving along. We’ll see what happens,” Trump told reporters. “There are certain conditions we want to happen. I think we’ll get those conditions. And if we don’t, we won’t have the meeting.”

Trump did not specify the conditions the US was setting for the meeting.

Trump had suposedly set up a "Nixon in China" moment
magnificent for World Wide Peace and all
North and South Korea coming together and so forth

Your OP is fake news.

If you have read 'art of the deal' you'd know exactly what is happening and why Trumps comment was a message to round boy.

But, it appears that lateral thinking is beyond many folks' grasp/capabilities.

Any how ... to quote from The President of the USA

“There is a very substantial chance that it won’t work out, but that’s OK,” he added. “It doesn’t mean it won’t work out over a period of time, but it may not work out for June 12. But there is still a good chance we’ll have the meeting.”

Harking back to his real estate career, Trump said that deals that seem certain sometimes fail while those which appear to have little chance of success end in triumph. Referring specifically to his talks with North Korea, the president added: “In the end it will work out. I can’t tell you how or why, but it always does.”

Of course there is a chance. There is a large chance. The NK government is not to be trusted but in true diplomatic fashion Trump has gone along with what is happening.

A handshake in the DMZ is what solidified the fact that this will be moving forward. If not, NK is f'd. China is already conceded to a trade war so NK has no allies left in the region to 'protect' them.

I'm still trying to get over that people actually believed MEXICO was going to pay for a wall.

The U.S. holds all the cards with North Korea. They are becoming broker and hungrier by the week. Trump is waiting for Kim to BEG.

Yeah, got your hopes up that NK will drop out and shoot a nuke so you can blame Trump. Then you can cry into your pillow when he gets then Nobel Peace prize.

Lil' Kim should take this opportunity to help his people. He really don't have a choice since his test site was destroyed.
