"i hate when women do this thing that doesn't affect me at all" thread #32,599

are you sure you don't want a /redpill/mra/mgtow/incel forum, ATS? you've got the content.

Overreact much?

It seems if a guy so much as dislikes ONE thing applicable to women, they're instantly on the s#list, even if other women (such as myself) nod in agreement.

Maybe you should try to be less....fragile about our gender.

I'd love to shoot someone with that just to piss them off, "I busted a cap in your ass with my mamby pamby gun."

I'm so tired of tidy asses who bow down, grow some balls.]

That would be one good reason to have it.

Pretty much one of the deeper motivations I had for doing a lot of things I did in junior high and high school -- because *I* *CAN*.

Problem is,

I can't get size 14 four-inch heels in any color OTHER than hot pink.

I feel your pain.

What? You mean you can't find them covered in gold or silver sequins? What a crime ...

And your excuse for the neon pink nipple tassels is...?

I make no excuse for those.

I'm seriously curious what the deal is with this color and the people that buy things in this color. It is not only offensively tacky but is offensive to most people's sight. I know many women who hate the color as well, but there are some that seem to want to own as much as possible and I think it is some kind of neurosis or is a way of compensating for some deep insecurity about something.

You're obsessing about a color that someone else wears... calling it "offensively tacky" and "offensive to most people's sight"... and suggesting that they are suffering some kind of neurosis? Seriously???

Wow. Okay.

First, since you don't seem to know, the saturation of bubblegum pink products is a fundraising gimmick for the Susan G Komen Foundation for breast cancer awareness... and pushing products/treatments, etc., that are actually much of the problem. So I find it all quite offensive and worse because it's harming and even killing women in the name of helping them.

The Facade of Breast Cancer Awareness, Susan G. Komen and the Pink Ribbon

But hey! I get it... pink offends your poor widdle eyeballs. And that's sooooooo much worse than the harm being done to women via this pinkwashing. Priorities, eh???

They could find a different shade. One I'd be more down with. I won't buy hot pink products because I won't use them.

Oh, wait, according to you because I won't waste my money on things I won't wear because they look ugly to me, I now hate and want to kill people who have breast cancer ... like my own mother.

Gee, thanks for playing.

That behavior pattern did not end for me when I dropped out in the 10th grade.

Didn't for me either, but it did get less important because once I was independent, it got a lot easier to do what I wanted.

I just don't understand people who look and say, "I can't do this because no one like me does this ..." That's a weak cop out. If you have an interest ... DO IT.

It kinda makes we want to do it, "Oh, you don't really want me to give you a Wet Willy?" Boom! Moist finger goes into ear canal.

I will apologize to you in advance for ruining your day... you may want to sit down for this... but I'm right there with you... that all sounds beautiful to me!!! Especially the burgundy leather sofa. I had to settle for chocolate brown, but I wanted burgundy!

And is there anything more beautiful than a rainbow of colors??? I had a rainbow wedding. My maid of honor was in pink, and the bridesmaids in lavender, blue, green, yellow and peach. My mom made everyone's dresses -- including mine. We also made our own bouquets with carnations so we could dye each bridesmaids' bouquet to match their dress. It was really amazing. I've never known anyone before or since who had a rainbow wedding, and I can't understand why!

I hope it wasn't too much of a shock to find me agreeing with you about something -- even if it just colors!!!
