I got into that one spy show Burn Notice just because it had Bruce. Haven't seen the show. Sounds cool.
My guilty pleasures? Well, most of them I can't really say. Not here. But, give me a minute I'm sure I'll think of one. If we are sticking to tv
shows, that should be a safe topic I think.
Reruns of shows like Saved By The Bell, Full House, Fraiser, Golden Girls, Cheers, I Love Lucy... but to be honest, my tv is on Music Choice for
about 95% of the time. And I listen to a lot of the music channels, Classical, Swing, Easy Listening, Jazz, Smooth Jazz, Stage and Screen(showtunes
and soundtracks and scores), Alternative, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, Adult Alternative, Rock, Soft Rock, Rock Hits, Metal, HipHop Classics, Throwback Jamz,
Country, Todays Country, Pop and Country, Country Hits, Classic Country, SolidGold Oldies, Party Favs, Indie,Hit List, but i cant bring myself to
listen to the Rap or the HipHop n RNB channels. They play that new fangled garbage that is all style and swag and zero substance. The vocals are
usually turned down so low and the guys mumble so bad, that its like they are trying to let their voice fade into the background like just another
sound. They only get loud when something excites them, like when they feel a sudden urge to declare how awesome they are.
Out of every 10 or 20 songs there is one that is ok. So, it just isnt worth listening to, and the only difference between rap and "hiphop and rnb" is
on the latter, the beats are softer but its still the exact same nonsense otherwise.
I guess its a good thing in a way. Real rap and hip hop came from the black community being in a state of crisis basically. We can't have good hip hop
when barely anyone is struggling as bad as it used to be. Hi five everyone, we ended racism!
