Still don't see anything that should deem Mueller recuse himself from the Trump investigation. All I see in this thread are Trumpkins trying to make a mountain out of mole hill to provide shade for Donald Trump.

They'll need to charge Sessions and Trump jr. for lying to congress first. In fact, thanks to the recent indictments (the REAL news btw) Sessions was caught in yet ANOTHER lie to Congress.

Its OPTICS. The GOP knows lots of people won't read more than a headline...

It's a PITIFUL attempt, actually. Benghazi was a lot more "creative".

So an FBI investigation is just any old straw?

Lol!

This is the way Congress works!
Do you think only Democrats should introduce measures?

No they will need to charge Hillary first.

And second, and Third.

Trump is not even under investigation....

It is when you are trying to spin it into something that it wasn't. You guys can't even get charges to stick against Hillary for this. What makes you think that Mueller is dirty too? Meanwhile Mueller is dumping indictments on Trump left and right (with more incoming) and you guys are doing everything possible not to pay attention to them.

Obviously. Because when a Trump supporter lies to Congress it is ok, but when Hillary or a liberal does it then they need to be strung up by their toes. Right?

They are very nervous.

I think perhaps they have lost control of the narrative and are
running out of time to scheme.

They've got to keep you guys in a constant state of rage against the opposition, or you'll get discouraged and tune out of the political process. And then you won't show up to support your guy at the booth. Which of course they can't abide.

NASCAR misses them ...

Every race since the Daytona 500 has had a smaller audience year-over-year, and the last three weeks have seen double-digit drops in viewers and ratings compared to the 2016 season.

Forget politics people, SAVE THE NASCAR!

It's really sad and scary at the desperation Trump supporters are showing to side line Mueller's investigation.

1) I'm not a Democrat
2) Mueller is a Republican
3) Mueller still wasn't involved with the Uranium One deal.

1) I'll take your word for it.
2)RINO maybe, but that is irrelevant to the
fact that he was head of the FBI.
3) maybe not "involved" in the deal itself,
but he was investigating it, and allowed
the investigation to be shut down. This is
not even in dispute.

No. he wasn't investigating it. He was just overseeing the FBI while someone else was investigating it, but to believe he was personally involved is just wishful thinking.

I never said he was personally involved. I said he allowed the investigation to be derailed. He chose to submit to political pressure rather than do his duty to the American ppl who pay his salary.

I would say that is reason enough to have someone else take charge of looking in to the allegations.

I don't know if the sale of uranium, in and of itself, is legal or not as it pertains to export laws. What bothers me is the bribery, the pay for play, and the millions that swamp ppl apparently made on the side while working for the government. In other words, working for me.

I'd say you are fishing for a reason to protect Trump. The Uranium One deal has NOTHING to do with the investigation that Mueller is undertaking currently. So using it to side line him is just dishonest.

What the heck are you talking about? Pelosi is calling for a new investigation, NOT just Trump supporters. Many senators and congressmen who are definitely NOT Trump supporters are in favor of Mueller stepping down. That should tell you that it's bigger than love/hate for our President.

I promise they were not ok with mueller being removed..

Every journalist (not opinion commentor) on both sides has said mueller is above reproach and has a stellar record..

Aka unable to be bought off or scared off..

Obviously we all know why that is bad for trump...

An inconvenient truth for Hillary.

Former CIA Director Leon Panetta said those are enough red flags to warrant an investigation.

"Well, it certainly makes the situation very awkward," Panetta nodded. "If you're testifying and saying you have no knowledge and the attorney sitting next to you is one of those that knew what, what was involved here, I think it does raise an issue that the committee is going to have to look at and determine just exactly who knew what."

townhall.com...

Leon Panetta is a Democart.
