So, if any of the myriad of reasons for firing Comey included 'this Russa thing' connecting Trump and his campaign to Russia...that's a felony. That can get him impeached.

I don't think they will find zero collusion with all the Russians surrounding the campaign and it's participants which continued even after the election. Trumps in deep with Russia and loans. And if you think Russia wouldn't push that advantage think again.

Comey had been leading an investigation into possible collusion between Trump advisers and Russian officials when he was dismissed by the president. Defending that decision in an interview on NBC News on Thursday, Trump said: “And, in fact, when I decided to just do it, I said to myself, I said: ‘You know, this Russia thing with Trump and Russia is a made up story, it’s an excuse by the Democrats for having lost an election that they should’ve won.’”

Comey never said Trump himself was under investigation...but that doesn't mean there wasn't an investigation going on. Trump, tangentially tried to end an active federal investigation by firing Comey. That's obstruction of justice and that's impeachable. It doesn't matter if the investigation turns up nothing, it's still a felony to try and stop it.
