I say congratulations to her, and she is 100 percent right. It's all about loving yourself. It won't matter if 100 or 1000 people love you or hate you, if you don't appreciate and have love for yourself.

Next thing you will see is Playboy featuring all overweight or obese women. Why? Because like you said:
"It won't matter if 100 or 1000 people love you or hate you, if you don't appreciate and have love for yourself."
So if that is part of the 180 degree move, well hate to say it but That will be the second final nail in the coffin.

Yeah, well it is dangerous to prejudge anyone based on their appearance or lifestyle. we can all be equally good and bad and only experience can show the real person inside that shell.
Agreed, I'm a rough builder with a skinhead who is not averse to challenging laws, I am friends with dodgy as folk the same...but funny how the rough criminal world in my life is more accepting than chavvy twats in mainstream. I love that there are dodgy folk who will defend trans people where I live, keeping the bigoted minority in check.
Them being treated fair is one thing.
Then them being paraded and shoved down everyones throats from kindergarten school indoctrination replacing classic comic characters to getting free surgery & years of paid recovery just for joining the military to full nude is all an entirely different discussion.
That is an Agenda™.
Oh okay, I'm from the UK so I don't recognise the society you describe. Forgive me but I'm guessing you're from the US so if that's the gig there fair enough, not my fight.
I'm glad trans isn't such as big a deal to folk here as the US though, and I'm happy my taxes help pay for reassignment operations and hormone treatment on the NHS.
I get you probably wouldn't, just different worlds is all...I prefer mine.

The final nail in the playboy coffin
“When I open a Playboy, I expect to see women, not some guy who identifies as a woman, or some former male who has had the surgery to become female,” wrote one commenter on the magazine's Facebook page.
“I just don't want my kids confused,” added another.
“I know it's by choice, but it's also a parent's responsibility to guide and teach their kids at an early age. But if they claim they were born like that... then, I don't buy it!! Males have male parts and females have female parts! Sorry!”

Btw..this quote is bang on:

Keep things traditional. I nearly puked seeing that man's ass.
So why do they tell anyone?

So why do they tell anyone? To all intents and purposes they're women, at least in their heads and to those looking at them no-one would know, so why not stop calling themselves transgender or whatever other label and just be the women they want to be? Why announce it?
Admit I've never quite got my head around that. I couldn't give two farts who or what people are, if they're nice to me I'm nice back. The only person who could possibly need to know is any future partner not the entire world
