There have been several on this forum in the past few days that have been trying to downplay the recent incidents over in Charlottesville. They claim that it is not about race, that it's only about heritage. They claim that phrases such as "Jews will not replace Us" were never uttered. If you can still defend these folks, after watching the video below, then there is no help for you.

The blond doing the interview has smoking hot looks.

"That which is degenerate in white countries will be removed."

"You ain't seen nothing yet."

After the 12th minute it gets really raw and real. The little blond reporter is in tears.

"The fact that nobody on our side died I go ahead and call that points for us."

"The fact that none of our people killed anyone unjustly I think is a plus for us."

The little blond girl is not so enthusiastic to be doing the interview in the 19th minute!

Wow, what piece of reporting!

I posted this in another thread on this same video.

It makes me question my membership on ATS.

There are a lot of people on ATS who have been defending this. Makes me question if I want to be associated with a forum that have people who defend this kind of crap.

They defend it talking about freedom of speech, this is not freedom of speech this is hate and terrorism.

Thats is a very sobering video thank you for posting.

I have to to be honest. As a black male, this place has become an overtly hostile environment. It didn't use to be like this, I used to spend most of my time over in the science section. It was fun debating the conspiracy theories and looking at the fringe science. Now, it seems to be all hate and discontent and conflict and propaganda. Not sure how much longer I'm going to stay around here.

A big part of the problem is that "they" don't see it as racist, they all just stop short of out right declaring "white before minorities", but they are racist in their defence of this behaviour, its covert racism and its just as bad as overt racism.

PM me with people defending this. I have yet to see it.

I will defend anyone right to free speech, until they act in violence. This does not mean that I defend nazis. In fact, I think the best way for them to be outed is to let them talk so that all can see their hatred and bigotry.

But I am seeing two problems.

The first is a large group labeling anyone who thinks that these people have the right to free speech as defending nazis.

The second is the absolute refusal to acknowledge that people on the other sides say and do just as terrible things.

Might as well give it up.

I've just been defending free speech and it does no good.

Still getting called a Nazi.

Might as well just accept the fact that some don't want free speech.

This is now endemic throughout ATS.

I am not going to go about quitting people because most of them just stop short of outright chanting white power.

I am just getting fed up of it, I am not really interesting in arguing about it anymore, rather I am just calling it as I see it and that is it.

Agree with me or disagree with me I don't care much of what you think of my views.

As a born and raised southerner I know well the vile nature of racism…

It is insidious and hidden and while all races are capable of racism, only one has a historical penance to pay...

My lineage spans 6 generations of texans(perhaps more on my mother side) and you can't throw a rock without hitting a relative of mine in west Texas or the panhandle...

The issue with speaking about race is now and will forever be context… Because of Caucasians using African slaves, the narrative the set…

It is unequivocal and factual…

So regardless of contemporary motives driving [racist] behavior, the constant over-arching theme of race relations is painted upon a canvas whose basecoat slavery…

We have no way to dissociate the current state of race relations from the historical context of slavery because neither side is willing to forget it…

Either from the victims standpoint or the [former] oppressor's side whose argument is their person non-complicity in actions from 150 years ago...

Unfortunately both sides have small elements in the population who are racists…

This too is unequivocal and factual...

The solution is time...

Remember, in Britain 100 miles is a long distance while in America 100 years is a long time..
Both of these statements are relative....
And both statements are correct or incorrect depending on your sensibilities...

As an ironic sidenote, the national socialist[nazi] party saw the Jude's-Christian religions as anathema to their party's ethos...particularly the parent religion of Judaism..
Hitler thought of Mohamedism(as termed in those days) as being perfectly aligned to Germanic(Nazi) sensibilities...

I wonder how many new-Nazis actually know the Nazis nationalized industry(Krupp steel, railroads), instituted government healthcare, controlled every aspect of citizens life from what car[wagen] the people[volks] would drive to how much electricity a household "needed"...

Neo-Nazis are idiots of the highest order and as we ferrit them out be gladdened when they show themselves save the violence visited upon those they oppress...

Much like the blm protest/massacre in Dallas last year, the innocent blood spilled will not go unnoticed and justice will be swift and [hopefully] commiserate with the crimes perpetrated...

You can't shout "fire" in theater because people will die. Allowing Nazis or Identitarians to speak in Charlotte is like yelling "fire" in a theater. I'm sure there are plenty of places in this country where the Identitarians can have their day in the sun. Be going to a place that voted 80% for Hillary Clinton is like going into a theater.

The idea of falsely shouting "fire" in a crowded theater arose from the Supreme Court's 1919 decision in the case Schenck v. United States. The Court ruled unanimously that the First Amendment, though it protects freedom of expression, does not protect dangerous speech.

In the background?

I don't know, is that illegal?

I saw armed BLM protestors that were legally open carrying and I defended them. Remember the guy in Dallas that was first blamed for the shootings and photos of him carrying a rifle were circulated.

That man was well within his rights and I defended him.

People, in general, can do and say very terrible things. Regardless of their political ideologies.

So I'm confused as to why it would matter if someone acknowledged the terrible things someone has said on "the other side".

Seems like a deflection to take the attention away from what these people did and said.

I am sorry that you are such an unreasonable person that you have to resort to calling me a racist in so many words.

Your mentality is exactly like those on both sides that are so sure they are morally right and the other side is evil.

Going to a place that supported Clinton and saying "Jews should be exterminated" is not the same as shouting "Fire!" in a theater.

Going to a particular location and saying things that people there don't want to hear doesn't rise to the level of Brandenburg v. Ohio's "clear and present danger." It's stupid to an extreme degree, but it doesn't meet that litmus test.

I was being a bit tongue in cheek.

It's not illegal at all, it's just the epitome of "tacticool" and, frankly, stupid. He, of course, has the right to wear it. I reserve the right to mock him for it.

I am not deflecting the violeence from the right here.

It was disgusting and there is absolutely no place for it. I hope the man gets a fare trail and if found guilty (which to me it looks like he is) gets the maximum penalty.

But for others to say that anyone who even breathes a word about the other side being violent is not only deflceting, but a racist is absurd.

And posters here take it a step further by saying defending free speech for people they deem nazis make you a racist.

This is Orwellian.

Again, this is an unbelievably authoritarian concept.

I hope people not on the fringe are reading some of these comments to see how seemingly reasonable people can make the most fascists suggestions.

No, free speech should not be contingent on the political ideology that is most prevalent in that community.

How could you think thats a good idea?

So that would mean that no one would be allowed to criticize Christianity in Christian communities?

BLM wouldn't be allowed to speak in countries where Trump won?

That is asinine.
