Haven't got the hang of a new post yet so:-
AArrgggghh, the new doctor who is going to be a woman. I have nothing against womenkind but a woman Doctor Who. No, no, no. Peter Capaldis Doctor dies in the Christmas special and regenerates as a woman.
Let's give her a fair crack of the whip but will be scrutinized closely so the show doesn't deteriorate.

I fail to understand... The Gallifreyan biology always allowed for the potential for a female Doctor, so why is this regeneration going to cause a stink, exactly?
