I admit this is one sided. I do not want to posture as trying to be fair. This is a list detailing things from a perspective I support.

None of the names have been changed to protect the guilty.

I have been trying to keep a running list of false news stories. I stopped trying to follow this around April; I didn't expect it to become so voluminous.

Feel free to add anything. I have tried to list only the verified false stories ( Keeping away from foggy or nuanced reports )

When the left tires to claim that mistrust of the media is irrational, I just send the list. Reality speaks louder than anecdotes and opinions.

Nice work keeping track of all this - nothing from July yet?

What would help is if you provided links to each of these stories, so readers didn't have to go hunting for them.

I might wait till the end of the month... CNN is running such a marathon of fullshipt they might actually lap themselves.

Nice work.
Looks like CNN, NYT & WaPo are the worst serial fakers.

Links would be good.
What constitutes fake news? Is it news that is patently false, or news that you think is unfairly reported?

I'm not interested in going through your list to debunk, but some of those stories you've listed aren't false.

One sided also, just as much fake news pushed during the election to do with Clinton (pushed by many on ATS) as Trump.

I stand by my assertion that they all turned out to be incorrect, false, fabricated, misleading, or outright lies.

Each one of these stories is it's own special kind of pretend.

Some are innocent media sloppiness, others are pure hogslop. To the best of my research on each of these, none of them turned out to be accurate.

My name is Ex-Voto and I endorse this message.

Yes, absolutely one sided. It was the list I chose to make with no pretense of fairness.

Maybe Google, Facebook and twitter should consider banning the worst offenders on the listfrom posting on their social media.

Change the title to "My list of confirmed fake news (cherry picked)" then.

Heck so many ATS member would have been banned during the election from both sides if they did that.

I considered that. But I do feel that detailing the fact that it is 'my list' indicates personal bias

....besides, no matter how many replies that appear to argue about weather or not I'm biased does NOT change the data in my OP

posted on Jul, 9 2017 @ 03:34 PM
No links. No fact checking.

All personal opinion or assertion?

Fake list of fake news?

I think that's sort of implicit in the title's use of the word "My", isn't it? As in, "these are stories chosen by me". OP never made any pretence of it being an all-inclusive and complete catalogue.

At the same time, he's not obstructing anyone who wants to add to this thread with things he might have missed or ignored.

Google operators are standing by

(but yes, I agree that not providing links made this a hair redundant to my claim)

Yes, tricky that, Steven Mnuchin the treasury candidate was in fact to over see 36 thousand foreclosures with OneWest, and was seriously grilled on that including the case of a 90 year old woman and became known as the Foreclosure King as well being grilled on undisclosed offshore dealings. He is an interloper with the like of Soros, Trump and is an ex-Goldman Sachs man, pretty much of the swamp fringe elite.

Besides, the way the OP is laid out, it looks a bit pasted and no link.

This story here carries many of the headings,
