Which cab business?

There are several.

It has more to do with the fact that cab companies lack institutional flexibility and agility. They can't and won't adapt their business model to compete. That's all there is to it.

They bought and manuevered themselves into "legit" positions.

Theyre still there I assure you

My father, whom I've never met In person has been in prison almost his whole life...

Crimes all eventually circling back to drug addiction

Addiction that all had it's start somewhere. He grew up in a household with a lax attitude towards marijuana.

That's not the only reason though..

I have yet to meet someone especially at this stage in life (late 20's) who still regularly uses marijuana recreationally and has their s*** together.

I feel like marijuana is often used as a crutch for the inability to generate internal happiness or used as a self medication took for dealing with your problems.

Additionally, smoking anything is a gross habit, period.

And lastly... It's a known fact that it makes you lazy (d ont go into the the whole indica/sativa argument.. trust me.. I'm plenty educated on it all)

I too grew up in an environment that was lax on cannabis. Heck my great-great grandfather was a famous grower around our area from the 1930's through the 1970's. I grew up around it.

It's not my place to argue with you about why you think what happened to your father happened, I can only speak from my own experience.

Whether cannabis makes you lazy or not is up to the person. I see business owners and professionals come into the dispensary day in and day out. I have several friends that own businesses and have been regularly using cannabis for around 20 years now.

Maybe some people need the benign comfort of this plant? I'm one of the people that believe all cannabis use is medicinal.

I'm one of those oddball pro-gun anti-marijuana liberals.

I hate drugs. I really do.

I hope some thing happens that reverses this legalisation of cannabis trend.

(FYI.. I'm all for medical applications country wide.. just hardcore against recreational use)

I find all things I dont enjoy should be made illegal also. fidget spinners, country music, IPA beers, etc.

Hi, just felt the need to touch on this.
My boss is 35 years old, live on the beach, has a porche and tricked out Jeep. makes about 1m/year. Married to a beautiful and lovely woman, 2 dogs, eats healthy, etc.
He is also a huge stoner.

You never met people with their s--t together who smoke? well, like attracts like, but maybe the people around you that are sorted in life see you as a stick in the mud and simply don't share that part of their life with you because of your grumbling judgment

Hey now, don't go pissing on country music. I find it to be quite a few notches above today's hip-hop and R&B. And I grew up enamored by the likes of Wu-Tang, NWA, Ice Cube, Jay- Z, pac/bigie bone thugs etc...

Until I grew out of it after realizing its mind control to fill prisons and encourage reckless consumerism. There are some tunes I still enjoy, but lately I just enjoy the sincerity of country music, especially after a nice dose of medicine

Disliking something is fine. I dislike skinny jeans.
That is far different than hopeing it becomes/remains illegal for other people to do what they want to themselves in private. The subject matter isn't even a high class drug, it doesn't pose any degree of society risk.

Too depressing.

Tell it to the judge, buddy! Nobody cares that the wife left you and the dog died!

Many, many people older than 30, 40, even 50, have been smoking for decades, and they live fully functioning working lives. Ok, the ones in their 30s wouldn't be many decades....🤔, but still could be half their lives at that point.
They likely just smoke it a little more privately.
As far as laziness, I know a couple of fitness instructors that have a smoke or an edible, then go running for fun. They're in their 30s...
For some, it opens up creativity.

I also know people that don't like it.
To each their own.

Everyone is different.

I find its all about the amount. One puff every now n then helps me out greatly. I keep my usage low mainly becaUse I have to pass drug tests for employment.

Now that's a law I wish would change, its legal where
I live yet a lot of good jobs test for it...

I bet eventually there will be smoke friendly casinos and clubs and hotels too.

Once the casino people see the amount of money it brings in I doubt it'll be long before the law changes to allow those kinds of places.

Yeah, because casinos have been struggling to get careless people with addictive personalities into their doors for years!

Which is exactly why they'll push for this once it's more socially acceptable.

Then again, it might make some people more paranoid about losing their money.

I've heard a lot of cannabis smokers like to sit in a room full of smoke.

I could be wrong though.
