Listening to the ATC audio, the problem occurred just as they rotated. The aircraft in question did not have the option to dump fuel, which is why they flew around burning fuel off. Interestingly no debris was found on the runway.

Looks like another A330 has suffered an engine failure this time a Thomas Cook owned one just on take off from Cuba. News story

Yeah they were shaken. Once you get to that point, your ability to stop without going off the runway is a lot less.

Its the people saying it ruined their honeymoon that made me laugh it was right at the end of it and you didn't die. One question why were they left on the plane for so long though especially when flames were seen coming out of the engine
