It's a bad decision internationally because countries have lost faith with USAs word. If USA developes a reputation of not honouring promises why make a deal in the first place.

Apart from countries international businesses like stability.

Absolutely not true. Obama chose to not run this thru the Senate. If he had it then would be the word of the USA. If he had the next President couldn't just abandon it. But no, Obama gave his word and it was that word which was broken. Big surprise because Obama broke his word all the time.

These countries are sophisticated enough to know the difference between a formal treaty with the USA that was approved by the Senate and some bs agreement signed by the US President. They also knew, just as Obama knew, that he could never get such an agreement thru the Senate.

As you sow so shall you reap.

Why is it so bad he didn't sign it?

Because temperatures will rise more than 1.5 degrees and we'll all be baked to death

No we won't, because according to the climate change scammers, there will be plenty of water for a refreshing swim.

You're not gonna bake.

It's already been said that the agreement would do very little to affect climate change and in fact, other countries would be allowed to continue to increase avenues of energy that the US would not. Especially China who has surpassed our level of CO2 output, and India which is close behind, would continue to create unlimited new coal mines for years to come, with no restrictions. It was basically a false climate "pact" fund in which to pour billions of dollars only to shovel into the already wealthy's pockets, kind of like the UN. And similar to the UN, every 5 years, the 'fees' would increase and more and more money would be poured into a bottomless pit never to be seen again. Just another shell game. Trump is following through on his promise to keep jobs in America. BTW, even Rand Paul was 100% against the short sighted deal Obama signed through an EO. We can be responsible without paying billions to be responsible.

Holy crap!
Someone came in and explained something! I had to quote it in full in case anyone scrolled right past.
Let's see if it gets any attention, or if people keep arguing and being petty..

Never would have thought ATS would side with the elite

OH brother, can you lay it on any thicker?

The elite are the only ones who benefit from this.

You are forgetting big oil, big pharm, big business, big plastic, big banks, big education, big flowers, big cereal, big bird, etc. reread your playbook

So true even if you ignore the impact on the global climate, this sends a message to the world that America no longer stands by its international commitments.

F### the rest of the world if we have to suffer economically to make them happy. Why does every deal have to hurt the US? What good is a climate deal that lets China continue to grow their polluting ways for 13 years but puts tough economic killing restrictions on the US? Like I said F them.

I hope a number of modern nations pull out and take a look at the current terms of the deal. I strongly support green energy, how ever I do not support donating money to other nations so they can take advantage of it.

I encourage nations to sign a deal to invest at home in green energy solutions. Improve your own economy and lessen the damage to their environments at home before attempting to work abroad. No amount of American, Canadian, British, French, German or any other nations money is going to change the impact of a foreign nation unless that nation makes the change for themselves.

I believe the ones siding with the elites are Hollywood, the MSM, all big governments, mega corporations, etc. They are all pushing this agenda of climate change and possibly for a very good reason (on their behalf). Could be UN's agenda 21, pushing for more control over humanity, taxation, "charities" and non-profit organizations (Clinton foundation comes to mind).

These people generally don't care about the planet, therefore I personally would never side with them. They actually serve as contrast, whenever you see these corrupt imbeciles forming up together for a cause, you know something ain't right.

I would really like a fact check on Trumps speech

Did this agreement really obligate the US to pay billions of dollars to the Green Fund while other countries contribute little ?

Would this really kill the US coal industry yet allow coal productions in other countries to continue ?

Would this actually allow China to basically not do anything about their pollution ?

Was this deal as Trump stated really about holding the US economy in check while allowing other countries to basically do whatever they want

I'm curious.

No, he has not. Dont be so ignorant.

To me holocaust denial and climate change denial are just as bad.

It amazes me how you guys not see how this just plays to the global elite.

Man made global warming is a scientific fact.

The only people who benefit from America pulling out of these accords are the global elite, the oil and gas conglomerates.

So since the planet was warming and cooling before man that should be false if its all mans fault correct?
Its a consensus OF WEATHER SCIENTIST not all scientist. the original paper was not even written by a scientist either.
Planets actually headed to a new ice age according to artic researchers with their ice samples.

YAY Trump!

Spending trillions to lower the temp 0.05 degrees by 2100, is the insane part.

Climate losers.

Good bye Elon. No more subsidies.

Obama admin gave the Green Climate fund 500 million three days before he left office.

Obama gave them 500 million dollars previous to that.

The climate has already changed. All the oxygen is gone, no more glaciers, all there is is dead puppies and CO2.

We're doomed.

Why worry about the oceans rising from the melting ice caps when there are enough salty tears in this thread to do even worse.
