What in god's name are you on about? You don't get to determine who's an ally or not. If Russia wants to work with us against ISIS, they're an ally. That Obama previously didn't want to work with them has no baring on what's current.

Saudi Arabia sure as # is less of an ally. They fund jihad. No one cared however when they were and are considered an ally and obviously intelligence is shared. Iran also is a massive funder of jihad. What did Obama do? Gave them even more money.

Furthermore, discussing current intelligence info with the Russians isn't leaking information. It's sharing information against a shared enemy.

People literally have no clue how things work.

We are a Republic. In a democracy, there is no constitutional protection in place, and the majority vote can override any law.

We have a Constitution, it guarantees our rights. The government does not grant us privileges. We're born with these rights, and, unless we break the law, they are equal to everyone.

We are not a democracy.

This whole thing is bat# insane.

If it were Germany or France or Belgium who discovered ISIS was planning on turning laptops into IED's for use to blow up airplanes, would they sit on it or share it with those of which it's a threat?

Of course they'd share it. That's what countries do when working together.

The idea of a leader in Germany or France sharing intel on ISIS with England is participating in crimes against the state and should be kicked out of office makes no sense on any level.

The only person with out a clue is you. By no stretch of the imagination is Russia an ally.

Try preaching your logic to NATO while Russia keeps moving more nuclear weapons to the borders of Poland and Lithuania. Putin is an opportunist. The Kremlin's fight with ISIS is not our fight with ISIS.

Russia also bombs our rebel allies in Syria. Is that something an ally does?

They are just angry because trump as potus can do what he likes when deciding to share info.
That or they are all ISIS supporters?

If russia wants to destroy ISIS i say let them. They get rid of ISIS let them have their pipeline through syria; thats what this is all about anyway.

Trump just signed a trade deal to send our lng to china. The middle east is becoming less relevant by the day. Opec cant even manage to raise the price of gas in the usa anymore.

The very people screaming about Bush and WMD's are now backing those deep state people in their effort to overthrow the President.

If we can dispense for a little while with the FOTM Keywords, why is it that some people automatically assume because they don't support Trump, that they then have to represent supporting corruption? It doesn't work that way and we shouldn't let those disinvolved in US politics drive our opinions. They have no desire to see us do well any more than Russia does....they in fact, relish on this chaos they are fostering.

The information he shared could also be used to harm our assets in Syria.

You think Mossad is going to want to help us after we just fingered them? You think Israel is pissed off for no reason?

By the way, Israel is actually an ally. A real one.

That picture was worth a thousand words. Makes ya wonder now if, in December, Flynn and Kushner secretly ushered Kislyak into Trump Tower to have a meeting with Pres-elect Trump. That is a question that must now be investigated and definitively answered, and it must include what exactly was said at that meeting. There could be tapes somewhere!

I agree with you, completely and unabashedly, but I have to tell you, you are fighting a losing battle on this forum. I'm not sure what has transpired here, but it is definitely something to watch and you will only aggravate yourself. It seems a lot of people here are either willfully ignorant or have next to no exposure what a delicate balance it is to maintain assets out in the field. Armchair politics is probably worse than corrupt politicians.

These people are supporting actions made that could actually get people killed in actual war zones. They like argue with me because they think I'm a democrat with no prior military experience.

Israel and saudi arabia are aligned with the so called deep state.

Russia is in support of assad's government. Usually when you hear about rebels, it's in reference to takfiri/salafi daesh whom were initially used by israel and saudi to fight their battles in syria and iraq.
Saudi Arabia unlawfully invaded yemen with US support because they want to reinstall the extremist saudi aligned dictator.

So this makes russia and Iran look like the good guys against the unlawful imperialistic regime change from the likes of senator Graham and mccain, the neo conservatives.
Assad is not nearly as bad as the media would have you believe.

He is every bit as bad as the media portrays him. But, he is a necessary bad guy, much in the same way Saddam was a necessary bad guy. We can't bring back Saddam and if we could Iraq would straighten itself out in a heartbeat...but we CAN make the conscious decision not to make that same mistake in Syria with Assad.

Who needs an intelligence community when the great minds at ATS already know what was talked about, who is allowed to hear what was talked about and how it will affect relations with other countries. All based on "anonymous sources" and biased reporting. Some people here think very highly of themselves, portraying themselves as people who know more than the actual people involved in said conversations. How about instead of making your own opinions and conclusions fact you wait and see what the actual people in the know do with whatever information they have.

My guess is it will turn out like everything else. Which is to say nothing will happen.

Israel's ambassador to the US, Ron Dermer, referred to the report Tuesday that the source of the classified information which President Trump revealed to the Russian foreign minister was Israel. "Israel has full confidence in our intelligence relationship with the US and we expect to deepen that relationship in the coming years under President Trump," said Dermer.

So you're telling me that a newspaper, edited by a guy who may or may not enjoy "playing dominos" on "pasta and cheese" and is the former campaign manager for HC, wrote a slam piece on Donald Trump that contains absolutely no information whatsoever?

You don't say......
