Well they say necessity is the mother of all invention.

I think we should push for the stars.

The technology and energy alternatives that come with would be amazing.

Like Fusion.

Something independent of the weather.

I agree we do need something that will help us further our energy and technology.

n Ensure everyone has access to affordable, reliable, and modern energy services to support a good standard of living – something like 80-100 GJ* per person per annum is likely to be required, though this threshold may fall over time as energy productivity improvements are achieved;

energy-transitions.org...

Geezus.

Gore ripped it off from the ACA.

Which made healthcare more expensive.

IE energy would become more expensive.

Those clowns must fail at ALL costs.

Which at our current federal spending would put us at over $4 trillion per yearly spending.

Neo how did you come up with the US spending 4 trillion?

Your snippet from the article says countries need to invest 600 bill as in more than one country as in all the countris combined spending a totol off 600 bill a year.

Not that I care much about what Gore says, but in cases like this where you made a thread about it you should at least understand what he said.

www.usdebtclock.org...

Federal spending $3.9+$600 billion that Gore wants us to spend.

Only.

It's North of $4.

I just pointed out that it doesn't say he wants the US to spend 600 billion.

Why do yu assume the US would be the only one footing the bill when your article says "countries"?

Gore gets his way.

That spending will only increase.

Total industries suppose to be replaced. He calls it 'transitions'.

As in a zero carbon emission.

Which means NO oil sucks if your a rig worker, refinery worker.

Which means NO coal sucks if your a miner or plant worker.

And welfare spending would be exponentially increased.

He's already doing that.

I really can't blame him, though. If people are stupid enough to buy what he's sellin'? That's on them.

Because that is how it works.

We fund the majority of the UN.

We fund the majority of NATO.

That $600 billion will primarily come from us.

Because it's an 'investment'.

Which means someone has to SPEND money.

Oh so it isn't that you misunderstood the article or that you didn't do the math you simply made up some BS to infuriate others.

What an idiot he is, i bet if he even got close to that amount he'd pocket millions for himself and put it down to extra expenditure etc.

Nope, Gore isn't the idiot here. His scheme is actually brilliant... you create a boogeyman, convince people that money can be thrown at said boogeyman to "solve" the imaginary problems associated with the manufactured boogeyman, and then you find a "hook" that grabs the heartstrings of your rubes, and you convince them that their adherence doesn't just involve their own money... they can demand changes that force everyone else to pay for the changes. So Gore is no idiot. The idiots are the rubes and simps that bought into the shell game and continue to do so to this very day.

ALL that green energy DEPENDS on the climate to work, BUT people IT'S CHANGING!

It's a change for the worst, that's the problem...

Trump doesn't realize that climate change is so close to being irreversible and that there is limited window of opportunity but if that bonafide ass clown doesn't realize that his grandchildren won't be priority when push comes to shove then that's on his head. If Trump truly cared about the future of his grandchildren he would make a change because you can't make America great again if it starts going underwater.
