Hi everybody,
I'm having internet issues again here and didn't want anyone to think I'm ignoring them.
I managed to log on this morning but then lost my connection, so still appeared to be "logged in". There are workers doing something in our apt. building and the power has been going off randomly too...so I'm hoping that's the reason.

My anxiety is through the roof today, and I think my car starter is dying. I texted with the mechanic who sold it to me and he gave me a couple of things to try but they didn't help. He can look at it on the weekend but I'm afraid of getting stranded when I go out.

Anyways, in case I get tossed offline again soon I just wanted to say "hi" and explain my absence.

Hi Jacy!

Hoping the car thing is not serious. Starter motor should not be that huge an expense if it needs to be replaced but man, you're right, cars have caused me no end of frustration and anxiety.

My office is putting on an "On site happy hour" - drinks, pizza, popcorn, DJ, games...pretty cool stuff.

Hope you get your car fixed soon and that they quit messing with your internet Jacy!

The sky was really yellow the other day before the tornados hit. I remember when I was a little kid and the sky was the same color and about a half hour latter a tornado went over our house. So when I seen the sky I knew something was up. All we had here was a lot of rain and I mean a lot. The rivers are getting up there. Damn has pretty much all its gates open. Now its cooler out.

I don't mind storms, but when they make houses fall down and cars go flying in the air and stuff...no way! Hope everyone stays safe. Hot as hell here and humid. Reached over 90 degrees! We always go too quickly from chilly, to hot as hell. I melt! Still have the AC on.

This morning I managed to get a live person at my lawyer's office to answer the phone. According to her I still have my case pending with Social Security. All I can do now is wait, wait, and wait. At least I found a way to spend my time waiting by watching "Fringe" to pass the time with.
