Every person has a story.
I am often completely overwhelmed by the situations that some people tell me about, whether it's childhood trauma/abuse, pain and injury or just really bad luck.

Often a person's life makes sense when you understand their history, but most people are too willing to judge without ever listening. Sometimes the only options available are all bad and it's a matter of choosing one and suffering the consequences. I'm always willing to mentally take a walk in somebody else's shoes and try to see where they're coming from.

This one came to mind, about manufactured wars and veterans cast to the side. It was about Bush and Iraq war, but also about the general struggle Americans face these days. You could insert any Pres and most wars and the song still applies. McMurtry is good stuff..

In this society so many folks have lost all hope. This thread discussion is important...we all need to have hope!

Never ending story was so cool, really enjoyed that, especially when the nothing threatened to consume everything. Except one grain of hope was left at the end to rebuild from. Last one for now, real world's a calling...

I appreciate all of your responses more than you could know! It's time to turn my full attention to my little one but I'll be back later for more great music/discussion.

I LOVE that song (Radioactive)! Too bad the video doesn't do it justice.
